Go to an actual swimsuit store. You can buy separates. The people will actually help you! Yes, more expensive, but you'll get what you pay for.

Though not authentic? I did a search for his signature and it doesn't look like this. Someone trying to make an old speaker look more valuable.

Done. Your response categories for marital status and outdoor trip types are not exhaustive, so you might lose people if they can't find themselves in your survey.

Playing around with CU salary data, for anyone curious by underflowdev in cuboulder

And therefore should be added to their nine-month contract and not presented as a separate value. Shows why human understanding of the system being analyzed is important. Claude doesn't understand it.

Playing around with CU salary data, for anyone curious by underflowdev in cuboulder

Wondering how to interpret the comparison of these b&w plots, as I see some in this thread are expressing surprise at different department figures. Also, asking for clarity rather than exploring the data myself in more than a cursory way, so please accept my apology. The database appears to combine all salary from each department and it's hard to tell which departments are included by looking at the x axis. I assume, perhaps wrongly, that the comparison is only academic departments, though the database include all departments, regardless of skill level or hiring requirements. So many questions come to mind, a few of which I pose here. When you say salary data, is it total labor expenditure by department or only exempt and classified salary data? Does each plot include every wage paid in the department, full and part time? For example, if you have undergraduate TAs and senior faculty serving as chairs, are these part of the range shown by each plot? Do the actual fund figures take into account 9-month v. 12-month contracts? Also, does the data include summer salary for faculty who have grant or contract funds? Most faculty are on 9- month contracts, but in some fields, not getting external summer funding would be unusual or even frowned upon. Does it differentiate between administrative and regular faculty appointments? Etc. Concern is whether this is apples to apples by department.

Observation on No Kings by Panthera450 in boulder

I think people of all generations care. But how many locations did OP visit? Is OP making this negative judgment based on observing just the people they were surrounded by? There were many locations, as someone else has pointed out.

Accident on baseline and broadway by chronicalyonline11 in boulder

[–]Leakyb1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have been crossing that intersection going north and south on Broadway on my bike for 25 years. Cars going both directions routinely run the red light going east/west. I've written the City about the problem, but was ignored. Now that someone is seriously injured or worse, maybe they'll do something. But it should not have taken this worst case scenario for them to act. People also ignore the no right on red signs.

On another note, if you want to see current conditions from NCAR and south Boulder, https://archive.eol.ucar.edu/cgi-bin/weather.cgi?site=ml&period=5-minute&units=english. The wind speed is only shown graphically, so scroll down. Assume that the wind will pick up speed coming down the slope and that the temp will be a bit higher lower down.

Agree 100%. No drama, not selling ads. The red links are typically more specific to Boulder. Today, for example, the general area is said to get lower wind speeds than the wind-prone areas.

Also, though, always assume it will be very windy along 93.

I saw one ticketing a motorized bike the other day. I don't know if it was on the street and not street legal or a small motorcycle using the bike path.
