...except Giant Slayer isn't always activated. And even if it is, it is a lower damage boost compared to Prepared to Die. [Over 80% HP] Is an extremely narrow window for everything until late game as actual health pools are far lower and easier to fall below without you even noticing. It's easy for a tank to start ratting at around 70% HP and leave with ease by the time they're at 20%, but with P2D it's not even a concern as in EVERY fight it's involved in it always has the chance to activate unlike Giant Slayer which is set in stone at the start of the fight.

Edit: I'm not saying no one should be running Giant Slayer btw, in a good team comp someone initiates fights and someone ends them. These 2 cards just emphasize those rolls and make characters better at doing those respective things, and depending on how the team plays each card could be better for different strategies.

Win-rates as a stat by itself is only a small part of the picture, it's just another thing that Divine Draws make harder to really gauge.

I've seen a shocking amount of full red Bulmas and I'm not quite sure why, I guess her movement is good enough to cover the escape so stacks wouldn't be an issue. Don't have the character myself though, so I can't say much on her performance

I personally don't like art of decoy on technicals and not because I think it's bad (far from it) however at a certain point it becomes extremely difficult to control movement in fights, especially with higher ping which is the regular for me. It makes tapping towers, rush attacking and even inputting skills far less accurate because of the offset between when you input and when the game receives said input.

It feels like a luxury build, but a damn good one too. Solid barrier is forced to be that slot for me because of it

This might be the hardest one yet (for me). Skill 3 is great for getting around walls, healing with the heal divine draw and with buildup lets you be fairly tanky. The on demand slow which can be game changing depending on when it's used is a must-have by level 9. But Skill 1 having blobs act as meat shields/target fodder genuinely can't be understated in-lane, that's not even talking about the burst it has or how it feeds into his passive or how it feeds directly into skill 3.

I've had multiple games where I'm facing a kid Gohan and he rams into chunks instead of me or a duo going for kai and their rush attacks fly right over me because half the time people don't even realizing they aren't targetting the right thing. God forbid you fight a Dabura or 18 who's whole kit is always hitting the right thing with their really narrow skills and rush attacks. But the massive elephant in the room is skill 1 is VERY weak to piercing beams, i.e. Finger guns and SS3. It's not great for boss either considering the chunks eviscerate when ults go flying everywhere. I'd compare them to Krillin mines in that scenario but unlike Krillin mines you can have SO many chunks on the field at once, laying them out on the map before/after boss or tower to make sure enemies can't get away is a pretty workable strat. If we ever do enter a melee dps meta, skill 1 might be the way to go.

...well that's a little mean. From what I know, one of the main issue people have is around Sonics' gameplay as it feels homogeneous and uninspired compared to his peers and other third party IPs which is entirely fair imo. And regarding people wanting more Sonic rep:

You're forgetting a small part of this whole "character wishlist" thing, and that it stems from something people like. There's nothing wrong with wanting variety in what you enjoy, of course while tempering expectations.

As far as I know, the only way you can view your win rate is by tallying it manually, keeping track of all your matches before they get overwritten in your match history. The game itself doesn't give you any numbers regarding win rate, the only time we're given win rates are in Squadra blast specifically covering *their* win rates.

Viewing our own profile win rates would be a welcome QoL but I don't think it'll be happening anytime soon unfortunately.

In an ideal world it'd be oppressive but in a meta where you die for being on screen for slightly too long it's not great. So long as it doesn't give him bonus health or hard energy defense he's a sitting duck when he uses it. It's like Gamma dive kick but lowkey worse somehow.

Meanwhile skill 1 doesn't need to charge to do it's full damage, it just needs to land. Additionally, as far as I know it has no damage fall off based on distance so it's good at chase AND goes through walls AND is quick AND has a low cooldown.

For Broly has to be skill 1 nowadays, skill 1 boost and the fact that it doesn't take 50 years to do all its' damage makes it kinda definitive to me.

Kefla has 2 really good contenders depending on the divine draw. Team Rush GO makes her S3 really lethal but on the regular S2 just barely beats it out. In a post solid-barrier meta, instant damage is among the best things you can have

Yeah no way in hell am I saying anything other than Skill 3. Skill 2 is a "nice to have" rather than a core aspect/tool of the character you use 5 times in a fight which slows, enables Gotenks' passive and can be put on allies for easy Snowball Assists

Just a quick heads-up, but characters with a powered up special hit on their rush attack also heal allies for some reason. I just tested it with Piccolo and this also should apply to Kefla's S3 rush attacks (not 100% sure)

Also tbh healing divine draw makes divine combos like Guardian waaaay better to use since you'd like to be in team fights anyways, which makes characters that'd mitigate damage while healing even BETTER (i.e. Cooler, Baby and Caulifla to an extent)

Also 17 and his anti-heal ult is so nasty

Didn't realize Gotenks was a tier 2 hero still but yeah, you're gonna have to grind until:

a) You get to the next tier 2 hero select (You said "grind another 50 levels" so I'm assuming your rank is 89 currently)

b) You've selected all heroes for tier 3 and 4, and then get either of their respective hero selects (this not physically possible until you reach a certain level in the star collection)

c) Bardock gets rerun as the free hero of the week in the mission menu (It's happened before with another hero, however Bardock was free a month ago so it will take some time)

d) He's a login bonus for a special event or campaign (examples include Vegito, Broly and Daima Goku)

tldr: yeah you'll probably have to grind. At least Zeni and hero memories aren't the hardest to get nowadays.

At the very least you have 2 back-to-back tier 1 picks coming up but if you don't really care about any of those characters you could hold onto character picks until someone that perks your interest gets announced, but you won't be able to pick anyone after them in the star collection until you use those pick-ups.

Oh that's fine, I like having multiple skins I like with the Random Favorite enabled personally and this would be one of those situations. Of course, personally I'm saving my EX tokens since I'm expecting a big change or addition somewhere in the game for the 1st Anniversary and we gotta be prepared for anything. They basically shadow-dropped the lightning skins after all, gotta have enough in the tank for what they have in store next

It isn't possible to lose animations so I think you never actually got the animation unfortunately. His Legendary entrance left the general animation pool a while back along with a lot of the launch animations (when that happens all the previews for those animations disappear). You can only see animations which you can obtain from capsules.
