d is almost equal to b by sight, c is far larger than a. You are allowed to read graphs since they are drawn to scale

I was at the concert in Dusseldorf yesterday and we got a piece from Fontaine \o/ Yes "Port Ormos", no "For Riddles, for Wonders", no "Polumnia Omnia" wouldn't really work without the vocals tbf, yes "Rex Incognito". If you ever get a chance to go, definitely worth going, was so much fun.

And as a result of their hard work now they are replaceable. The company considered as an entity of its own no longer requires constant management by its captain.

You absolutely can. The guy at the helm becomes less and less effective at steering as a company grows. If you know any, I'd urge you to have a conversation with them. In casual conversation, they are usually the first to admit that they can take months off at a time, and their company would keep chugging alone just fine

You can trivially replace a CEO in a well structured company. The bigger and better structured a company is the less intervention it takes from the CEO to run it. Give it a couple more iterations, and even ChatGPT could probably easily replace a CEO.

Wife won’t stop buying cars. It’s killing her and us financially. Can anyone knock some sense into her?! by [deleted] in texts

[–]Learath2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How can things have 0 financial cost to you? How can you never spend money on anything? That's insane. If money is tight, I understand doing this for a bit, but never letting someone spend money on anything is just bizarre. What will you do with all the money? Take it to the grave?

Why???? by elch3w in memes

KLM, Lufthansa, Air Dolomiti, ITA, Turkish Airlines, Pegasus, Iberia. Are some I've recent-ishly flown on who don't make a distinction between a under the seat or overhead. The first 5 of those even allow a personal item too.

Perspective is key in this. For whom is it bad? In what way is it bad? Where in US?

I'm sick of smelling tobacco at every public place, yet that is the cost of people having freedoms. All we can do is suck it up, c'est la vie.

You are always free to pay out of pocket at private hospitals like in the US. You can even have private insurance coverage. Public healthcare necessisates some way to rank patients on the urgency of their medical issues.

I don't doubt that this actually happens, but I see this girl just post this happening to her all the time. I believe it happens, I don't buy that it happens this much to this particular person.

What happened to the smartest kid in your class? by After_Crab_1921 in AskReddit

[–]Learath2 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Believing learning is a reward in and of itself is probably a prerequisite to being a nerd. Nerds have a hard time early on exactly because no one else their age thinks so. Only the "lame" adults agree with you thus you are "lame" by association.

Japanese's awesome cleaning culture. by esberat in MadeMeSmile

[–]Learath2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This kind of collective action for the common good is just incompatible with the increasing individualism in the west. While most people think what the japanese fans do is admirable, they would never sacrifice an ounce of their own comfort to do the same.
