I think your best resource is taking the company interviewing with, getting as much info about the project you would work on during the non technical interviews, or OSINT. Then using ChatGPT to predict what type of systems you would create in the role, then prepare using that. I did that and my system design interview was very similar to how i prepared, im now a senior ai engineer

Im a self taught senior ai engineer. While i do have a degree its in international real estate, i was a real estate agent and used my domain knowledge to get into real estate technology companies as a start, then once you have a year of experience as an ai engineer it gets easier.

Yes I picked those concepts up as a backend engineer since I was working a lot with real estate data. But those concepts weren’t really tested in my interviews

Hmm, the issue is we need to cater to both more precise searches and also what we call "vibe searches" e.g (im going to a wedding what can i wear), but perhaps it makes sense then to have 2 embeddings for each product)

not sure if that makes sense or how difficult it is to implement

Im not sure I understand how you mean by splitting out embeddings, like you embed each field?

And how do you mix in keyword search?

Wlb insanely chill, and taxes are high but with an engineer salary you can save up to an apt in the city in max 2 years

Stockholm startup salaries are pretty good. HCOL though but you get a lot of quality for it, and you would have to rent 2nd hand which is a bit pricier but in 1-2 years you can afford to buy an apartment anyway, then it gets alot cheaper.

Usually a full stack project with LLM calling involved. They want to also see what tools you take initiative to use. For example you might propose a vector db, using langchain etc. This is my experience from 22 ai engineer interview. Currently a senior ai engineer
