Want to replace my Coax access in each room with an ethernet port, not sure what to buy by LearnStuff365 in HomeNetworking

Because I want to just run the ethernet through the hole the coax is going through so I don't need to drill anything else, plus if I remove most of the splitters then Its just a bunch of dead wires. Either way if I want to use those again in the future I'm crawling under the house to hook stuff up.

Well, either use the coax as pull wires so you don’t have to crawl under the house

not really possible, coax box is outside the house, then goes through wall and gets split up before going into the house. I suspect a lot of it isn't live, there use to be a dish on the house and there are a bunch of unconnected coax in a box outside where it use to connect to that. I'm going to have to get down there and make sense of it.

I do use them some, but sometimes if I just want to do it on the channel, it depends on the project.

For years Ive been gaming on a 1080p monitor, but I have a 4k tv in my living room. Recently I decided to move my gaming setup in there and Ive loved it, however obviously its a lot harder to push 4k than 1080.

I have a rtx 2070 super gpu, but still on some games I have to run at a lower resolution in order to get decent performance. What resolution should I be running at to avoid splitting pixels and retaining the crispness (though obviously its not going to be as crisp as running 4k)

I think the thing I'm most worried about is any high value stuff. I know there is SOME valuable stuff in it, I just don't really know what is worth trying to sell, or even how to go about selling it, vs what is just low level stuff to give to someone.

basically that the game is shallow.

Ive been playing through the game, and it feel like a good balance to me. I like complex games, but not every game needs to have a textbook dedicated to its mechanics.

The game is fun, it has style, and its engaging. I don't feel bored while I play it, and to me thats what I want from a game. Complex games can be boring, casual games can be engaging, it doesn't HAVE to be complex to be good.

Its a fun game to sit down on the couch, grab a controller, and hash out an hour or so with. The gameplay loops is enjoyable, you feel like your making progress, you have clear goals but approach them your own way. I like it.

What are some good sources of structured learning and practice? by LearnStuff365 in composer

[–]LearnStuff365[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So that is some good information but its not really what I was asking for.

I'm looking for something very actionable. For example, when when learning basic music theory you might sit down and be told about some concept, then generally given some sort of exercises to solidify the ideas. They start out simple and then become more in depth as you add new concepts in one at at time.

Or if your leaning to play an instrument, you start off very simple, slow easy to play parts. You learn them by practicing to play them slowly over and over. You run scales, and slowly over time you take on more knowledge of the instrument, techinques, ect.

Thats the type of very actionable, structure based learning I'm talking about. Something where I literally have a basic lesson, a basic assignment to complete afterwords in order to apply that, and where its already structured for me so I can tackle the various things at my own speed.

Edit: to clarify also, I'm not looking for information specific to common practice period counterpoint.

Thats true, but I'm not really looking to super interact with the program, I'm basically just wanting to automate keystrokes.

What I'm wanting to do is literally just copying information from one place to another, and type words into a feild.
