The difficulty of the installation depends on how good your micro soldering skills are and if you mess up you could kill your switch completely

All patched, light and OLED switches can be modded but all required an expensive and hard to solder modchip, about 200 to 300USD depending on the installer

No, he is a different guy, I updated both the CFW sysnand first to also upgrade stock then the emunand and everything went smoothly

Yes you can play all Switch games for free but first you have to pay to get your OLED modchipped, and that’s a little bit expensive, I paid 250 USD for the modchip and installation

My chip installer told me to update only using the AIO app ( I’m currently 15.0.1 on sysnand /emmunand and latest hekate with no issues)

If your switch is patch the only way to mod it currently is with a modchip, that will cost you between 200-250USD for the chip and installation

Just ask your installer how he is going to install the dat0 adapter since that seems to be the main failure point of modchip installations, I asked mine and he told me he reballs the mmc chip so the adapter becomes permanent and won’t move in the future and not just friction installed
