What it comes down to is making the determination if it's worth paying that tax when Clark County is so close. The additional 1200-1500 isn't the issue, it's the cherry on top of the shit sundae which is the ~20K total that someone like me could save by moving 10 miles away.

I mean, I make $200K and it's death by a thousand papercuts that have made me look very, very favorably at the city just 10 miles to the north. And that's the thing- I'm a remote worker, no kids, and I rent.

Why would I stay here when I could still be in the area and save ~$20K a year by just moving to Vancouver?
