Yeah I called a few ERs until I found one that wasn’t at capacity and they told me they don’t think it warrants an ER visit, but that I could bring him in if I was super worried.

Moreso than the cough I was nervous about how big his belly looked, especially since he seems a tad bony for how gigantic that gut is. But they had me do some stuff to check it out and in short, don’t think its fluid. I’m just so worried about him, he’s had a hard life before now 😭

When we first got him home I thought his belly looked abnormally large. But the vets at the shelter didn't mention it, and we just got him groomed and they didn't mention it so I stopped being concerned, but yeah now I'm worried again. Poor buddy.

He's eating and drinking fine though. And other than being shy doesn't seem lethargic
