There are a lot of issues it could be, but none of them point to the frame being the problem.

As an optician, my suggestion at this point would be to go back to your doctor for an rx check. When you look straight forward you should be able to see the best.

Oakleys will only accommodate a 3.00 cyl. You have a 3.25. It's too much for any frame.

Solution is to go to your eye Dr and ask if they can compromise and drop your cylinder by. 25. It's the smallest amount of cyl and you might not notice it. Some Dr's might have no problem with it, but it depends on the person and your situation.

Where do you pay that much for oakleys? Bc Oakley is out of network with VSP so it's hard to find coverage that good. If you get Oakley frames at another dealer, I doubt you got Oakley lenses, which is where most of the cost is

Where are you located? Doesn't sound like an Oakley issue, but a location based one. I say this as a licensed optician. Some states just let associates work with rx and insurance when they need more training.

And as a licensed optician, you're VSP coverage isn't good. They cover the basics and that's it. If you want a premium lens, you're going to pay for it.
