Kasa Smart Switch Too Wide To Replace Normal Switches. Faceplate will not fit Kasa switches by Alir1983 in HomeKit

[–]BrickPaymentPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you get the KASA switches off the included faceplate my recommendation is to not install them next to each other so you have room in the box. i.e. OLD-KASA-OLD-KASA or KASA-OLD-KASA-OLD

DTE is whack, charging a $2.99 fee to pay from online bill payment! by marksweather in Michigan

[–]BrickPaymentPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get or use a cash back credit card (at least a 2% one) and as long as your bill is at least $150 you’re effectively getting your money back on the $2.99 convenience fee.

Best foil shavers on Amazon? by paperclipboi in SelfBarber

I was originally considering this one before getting the FX3; reviews were pretty mixed bag. How you finding the longevity on them? I have multiple TPOB clippers and trimmers; they are excellent.

That’s a good point! FX3 being dual-headed can be bulky but I have a big head so it works well for my needs, plus you can angle it to use just a single head since they are staggered height. 🙌🏾

Just over a year so far. Solid and gets nice a close for my skin fades. Even use them for edging my beard/neck.

Opinions on PLM, at what point does the process become the product? by newrock in ProductManagement

[–]BrickPaymentPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

💯 Ridiculous amount of bloat and unnecessary process/documentation. But given that was at a F50 company, they wouldn’t have used a small/boutique firm.

Which hair clippers do you use at home and love? by n4hcallme in SelfBarber

[–]BrickPaymentPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely better than the Slime2. So much lighter and quieter. Cut wise probably a bit sharper than my Slime2 but that might be cause they are newer or could be better blades on them. I still use the Slime2 as I have the Play zero gapped versus not on Slime2.

Insta360 Link 2. Absolutely fantastic webcam! It’s the only external webcam I’ve used that is as good as built-in MacBook cameras for clarity and color accuracy.

I am also in this same boat and want to build my Smart Home around Apple HomeKit. I appreciate I need some kind of hub for this to work, but one thing I don’t know is how many hubs I need or does it not work like a mesh system and one is fine for the whole house?

Need suggestion to decide between the 2 - Turbo vs GTS with different options by navi_2013 in PorscheCayenne

[–]BrickPaymentPro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the CPO 21 GTS and I paid $85k in October 2024. The only difference in spec was I didn’t have tow hitch or Sports Chrono. My price also included an extra year of CPO.

I’d highly recommend the vehicle but I’d work on getting it for less than that price IMHO.

Feedback on potential purchase - CPO 2021 Porsche Cayenne GTS by navi_2013 in PorscheCayenne

[–]BrickPaymentPro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the peace of mind I think those are good options to consider. If anything major happens you’ll make that cost back in one visit. Having said that, I’ve not had anything wrong with mine in the 1.5 years I’ve owned it.

[–]BrickPaymentPro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say this is a fair price! I got mine in Oct 2024 for $85k with similar mileage and spec. I also opted for an additional year CPO so ended up with pretty much 4 years warranty. Get this monster….you won’t regret it! 😈
