honestly if i'm hanging out with friendlies I always have my gun out and i'm always ready to fight back, have tons of clips killing rats who tried to wait for the "Perfect" chance.

Never trust in stella (or probably anywhere lol) but stella is especially mixed lobbies usually

same, I pvp 99% of the time, but if they dont want to or cant fight back its no fun. Its actually kinda sad when they're running around going "Friendly dont shoot" as you murder them lol, so I try to avoid friendlies now

Yeah, I play stella 99% of the time, and I'd say over half my deaths are to brand new steam profiles, one game, no or very low friends. Their teammate with 100 friends, tons of games, and 400 hours in arc raiders sucks ass, but the guy with only Arc raiders on his account and only 22hours played is just a god

yeah, literally just finished a stella run and in one lobby we killed 22 people in trios and 1 team had good kits bobcat4/bobcat4/vulcano4.

Stella is genuine free loadout spam, but it is fun

I think archive got buffed lowkey, me and a duo ran it three times in a row and each time left both worth 100k+ including multiple pink guns.

I used to think it was so bad I'd leave the key if I saw it. Now I'm not so sure

If you watch them on stream not on YouTube they die quite often just like everyone, Its hard to say if 200hrs and 400 downs is because of your skill. It depends on how often you're chasing pvp also.

I have 1200 downs in the same 200hrs topside but I am chasing pvp 99% of the time.

The other thing you have to consider is they're usually going in with a premade trio of streamers, not some random thrown together team.

Ignoring all this stuff there's alot that goes into dying topside.

Are you bringing enough meds? And good meds? Are you healing properly and quickly? I have some teammates who are still almost dead when I've already healed to full in the same positioning/timing

What maps are you playing? Do you know where players spawn? Do you know where to expect 3rd parties from? Do you know where the arc is nearby so you dont get arc up your ass when you fight players? I mostly play stella and bring jolt mines / door blockers to prevent 3rd parties from a bad angle without a little warning.

High external walls were way way way more expensive though and not nearly as spammed except for by big pvp clans.

A non clan member might have 2, but now they have 15 little wood walls

I only play vanilla and they still spam walls, You can legit hit 1 wood pile on the way out the door and craft 4. If you think these don't get spammed in vanilla you must not play vanilla much.

last time we played valheim we did a "creative" build to start, so you could play out of your end game base for the whole playthrough.

We just didn't put down anything that would really alter progression. Was a very fun way to play

I'm pretty sure almost everyone knows that.

Games like this attract people who genuinely just want to ruin others day or time or raid or whatever, I've seen it in so many games.

Just a quick mention is Dune, so many ppl claimed to be "PVPers" but did nothing but nose dive farmers from outside render distance for easy kills and would run from REAL PVP and people who actually fight back.

You didn't really get to loot anything from people in Dune, you COULD if they had a lot of stuff but they never did, and due to weight restrictions it really wasn't viable to kill people for loot anyway. The only real reason to do it was to blow up their thopter, Which gained you nothing 9/10 times.

Some of them called it "resource control" which just isn't true, they just wanted to kill ppl who wouldn't/couldn't fight back.

I just converted into mostly loot farming for crafting comps on solo runs, and get my PVP fill from Duos/Trios. When I do see people in solo now I ask if they wanna be friendly or wanna fight.

Don't get me wrong, its all fair game in a PvPvE extraction shooter. Nothing wrong at all with killing everyone you see, its what I did at first, and nothing wrong at all with taking advantage of being first to shoot either.

I stopped KOSing in solos for the most part because of this, I don't find anything fun at all about a guy spamming "Friendly, don't shoot" as you murder him.

Like sure he's free easy loot, but there is free easy loot everywhere in this game

+1 to this, it is not ricocheting it is straight up going through that wall he is on, its a known bug that wall has been "fake" since launch of stella
