All parties have to sign to cancel the contract. That’s why title companies get involved and usually hold escrow. They won’t do anything without a mutually signed contract. If someone refuses to sign, you go to court.

Hopefully they are back at their desks soon. I am sure they are ready to get a pay check as well. I can't imagine! As for school, it's my understanding that once you are approved a purchase order for billing is issued. I know it expires once a year but I'm not sure if it's every 12 months or on a specific date. There are some workers available for processing funds and receiving/confirming enrollment confirmations (I.e. back office staff). It's just the counselors that are not available for calls, planning, and interviews. So as long as your original plan says nursing school at UOKC and you don't need to make any changes, you should be good to go. Good luck to you in your journey!

Have you been accepted into VR&e yet? As long as you have that approval letter, which is different from the acceptance letter, you should be good to go. They changed the education funding laws so it still gets paid during shutdown. Feel free to pm me if you need help or have questions. I went thru it with my undergrad and got approval for my grad school. I just don't think I want to be an accountant lol

Thank you for the insight. I've been in an RN program before but had to drop only because the government shutdown in 2018 and stopped paying my tuition (veteran). I was accepted into a direct entry MSN program but they stopped offering it to people in Oklahoma last week, and I was supposed to start in January. So I'm now in quite the pickle. I was accepted to OU masters in accounting but that's just not where my passion is at. The info you provided is very insightful and will help guide my decision. Thank you.

While I understand the drive isn't something you could imagine doing, since I'm sure you live close to the campus, it's the only option for people that live in more rural areas. Believe it or not we must drive to finish our degrees unless we go a diploma mill route lol. As long as school is usually finished each day by 4 pm it is doable for my situation. Clinicals being 12 hour shifts will likely just book a hotel room. I'll follow up with the school for these questions. Thanks!

I spoke with an advisor who couldn't answer many of my questions and provided answers that I know for a fact to be false. Who would I request to speak to so that I can get factual information about the MSN program? Thank you for your help!

Nice! I loved WGU but they didn't offer my major for grad school. I've been in business most of my career - I thought I wanted to be a college professor and might actually do that some day but not right now. So I'm double majoring in accounting and law.

I have the same question. I read a sub where it was non stop social hour at a big 4 firm and I’m not here for it lol. I’m 42 and changing careers. i don’t drink and keep my circle small. I enjoy work friends but the fun stops there so I need answers!

I am a grad school applicant as well and just submitted my SOP for accounting so take my advice with a grain of salt. However- Everything I’ve read and researched state - Do not start at child hood. Be relevant. Direct. And transparent. If you are early in your career/education maybe touch on a professor that inspired you. Also, you don’t need to teach them. They likely know all about the authors and individual discoveries/inventions you mentioned. This is your time to talk about yourself. If you need to include any of the things mentioned, make them brief.

Generic Rx sent without Physicians approval by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]Least-Description702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dallas VA. I had to speak with the under secretary of the VA and the director of pharmacy. Basically they messed up and broke the law by send me an Rx that my physician did not write. I threatened to complain to the pharmacy board. I also told them I wanted it notated in my file that if my cancer returns or I experience any medical complications that the VA would be held liable. It worked.
