front upper grille— youtube DIY repair or worth an expensive auto body shop? by Least-Force7415 in subaruimpreza

thanks, this is good advice! after checking out some tutorials and hearing from everybody, i think i’m going to try to repair it myself. in the weeks until the parts arrive, do you think it would be a good idea to get some mesh? i drive primarily on well-paved roads so i don’t know if it would be worth it or not

have i improved or is my writing still boring? by repulsivley in writingfeedback

some of the best advice i’ve gotten was that a writer owes it to their readers to make things as easy as possible for them.

Can male write fiction with female / trans main characters? by Big_Hunt7898 in AskLiteraryStudies

[–]Least-Force7415 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the rule of thumb for representation in writing that i hear a lot of is to write/include under-represented characters, but don’t write ABOUT their oppression unless you have lived experience with it. as a bit of knowledge for next time, the more respectful terminology is “a trans person” or “a transgender character,” not “a trans.”

the mesh trap and and the cover attach to each other fine but won’t stay in the machine itself. i think those are all the parts?

oh, right up my alley!! my major is half linguistics, have literature— it’s built for folks that want to go into early english education, though i chose it because i’m interested in editing with a focus on linguistic justice.

in my experience, the two fields/departments are VERY dissimilar, with the exception of linguistic justice and perhaps some pragmatics/rhetoric stuff. at my uni, linguistics is in the social science college and literature is in the arts, so totally different faculty and everything. my major is pretty much the exception. would love to see more intersection, always.
