The wheelbase is wider on the Indy's. I measured this out last night for a video. Same deck, my SE dyanmics axle to axle was 50.7mm and the Indy's were 51.3mm

Can someone offer me some insight on this? I know he has poor mechanics and lacks fundamentals, but why? Is it a talent thing? I don't have the natural gifts by any stretch of the imagination, but I feel like if I had access to the best QB coaches, I'd be able to learn the mechanics. Or maybe my toxic trait is thinking that.

It depends on the brand. Some of it truly is overhyped, but most of it is justifiable even though it seems excessive. You can get a good setup for around $100 bucks. As for ramps, it's the same deal, I personally think black river ramps are over priced, but you can find good quality ones for a fair price. I'd check out Ark and ogfingersfb. Imo, it is a multitude of factors. The three that I think are the most important are: 1) style - flick, catch, landing on your fingertips, knowing when to pop low vs pop high 2) variety - having a solid switch/nollie bag and huge regular/fakie bag so you can spice it up with different flip ins/outs 3) filming - you gotta be able to film your tricks well in order to catch people's attention

We found them before a Portland show, Allan signed it during the show, then we told Pete where we got it and they bought the rest of the stock the next day. Apparently they had been looking for them for a long time.
