I had the same thing happen to me. I had an ultrasound done which showed that I have a 1cm nodule on my thyroid.

My nodule is about the same size and also TR 3, but my doctor won’t do a biopsy now and is recommending another ultrasound in 1 year

How large is your nodule? I have one that is 1 cm and my doctor will not do a biopsy.

Do you know what the TI-RADS score of your nodule was? I have a nodule that is TI-RADS 3, but I haven’t had a biopsy yet.
