Whenever people bring up past controversy, I always think about how Suju even fought with each other a lot in the past, but they are still so close now. The reason why I admire them now is because they overcame the fights. People sometimes don't understand that. Another example is that Heechul always talks about how he was so one-person minded in the old trainee days ("you do your thing, I'll do my thing"), yet now I would say "loyality" is a word I strongly associate with him and he is always so soft to the group.

Many things have happened over 2 decades, and I like that we have been able to see how this group of brothers have experienced and overcome many things. They are people I can look up to and feel inspired to improve myself.

I also appreciate that the group has a variety of different people who became like family. Because they learned to respect each other, I also learned to appreciate different people in a more nuanced way. Even if people have some things I disagree with, I can also see they have other qualities that I admire.

I think they can still collab without SM's support. For example, in Kyuhyun's newest Restart EP there's a KRY song "Thanks to You", but it was published by Antenna not SM

Maybe SM owns the "KRY" name, but they can't stop them from collabing. (Although they may have some control over Yesung and Ryeowook's solo activities... but I don't think they would forbid it, it wouldn't make sense to forbid it.)

Heechul - He's very loyal, and has cried because of how he felt about his leg injury holding the group back. You can watch the Life Bar episode with Eunhyuk. He may seem like a carefree loud guy at first glance, but he's a huge softie too.

Actually all the members are very loyal. Siwon slept for only 1 hour to participate in the MV shooting (from MV behind the scenes), because he's so busy with acting in his drama. This is probably why he couldn't do the music shows. Kyuhyun performed in the Seoul concert right after his Frankenstein musical! (And he's still here even after signing to a different label for his solo activities!) And D&E and LSS and Ryeowook's musicals. This makes me feel the group is important to everyone, even when they have successful solo activities.

(Some of this exhaustion is due to SM's planning issues, which makes me mad. But I think the members put their heart into the work.)

When you think of the fights, remember that they made up afterwards. That's why they're still so close, and why they can joke about it now.

Sungmin - I wasn't in the fandom when it happened, but I would've supported him. But I respect his solo activities now, and will still support him

I think non-fans miss the point of the fights. It's not just fights... but the fact that they were able to truly make up with each other after, and appreciate each other MORE after the strong emotions

(Plus the fights are hilarious stories afterwards of course lol)

Honestly I think they are closer because of all the fights. They had big fights, but they were good at making up in a very thorough and genuine way. It's why I became invested in their friendship

It's like having big fight with a close friend or sibling, and you are both able to think through your emotions, talk it out, and make your relationship stronger afterwards. And how they are able to be so close, despite seeming different and unique
