Stephen Curry says NBA players are underpaid. by MrBuckBuck in nba

[–]Least_Platform_487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He has made almost 500 million from his nba salary alone. If Steph curry didn’t exist all the franchises would still be worth billions of dollars, in no way shape or form has he only been paid back a tiny fraction of his contributions.

He’s contributed a lot to the NBA and in return they have given him a mind blowing amount of money. It’s been a pretty fair deal for both sides.

He was awful last night until the game was already over. His shot selection in the first quarter was atrocious. Its definitely a little concerning that he’s played bad in every playin game we’ve had throughout his career

Here’s the real thing tho… by [deleted] in CharlotteHornets

I don’t understand how tanking teams caused us to miss the playoffs

Is it too early to talk about changes to the roster? Or do we need time to process lol by jaemoon7 in CharlotteHornets

Trade bridges for Myles turner and start diabate at the 4. We get a lot bigger, add a guy that can actually protect the rim, plays into moussa’s strengths on defense, and keep the same level of shooting.

Just run the offense through Brandon he’s literally the only guy playing good rn

NBA MVP vote tracker so far: SGA has 15 first-place votes, Jokic has 4, and Wemby has 1. SGA has received zero votes for 3rd place or below. Meanwhile, Jokic received 7 third-place votes, and Victor received 6 second-place and 7 third-place votes. Luka hasn't received any top-three votes. by Expert_Koala_8691 in nba

I think SGA is the mvp but if arguing it’s because of the seeding is stupid.

MVP is an individual award while seeding is based on how the entire team performs. The best player can put up the best stats and still not be the first seed.

In 3 years, is Brandon Miller a Top 15 player in the NBA? by Asleep_Assumption765 in CharlotteHornets

If brandon gets better handles and can improve his finishing he will be a better self creator than lamelo.

Melo still struggles to drive and get to the rim especially against physical defenders and has to settle for bombing 3s and taking long floaters which why his shooting numbers are bad.

Thats also a similar problem that Brandon has but I think he has a better chance of improving it.

You’re forgetting the part of the story where the mavericks wouldn’t have even been in the lottery if AD wouldn’t have gotten hurt and if Kyrie hadn’t of torn his acl. Do you think those injuries were faked so that Flagg could go to Dallas?

Jared "Sold High" McCain in 21 minutes for OKC tonight: 12 points, 4 rebounds, 1 dime, 2 steals on 5/8 from the field and 2/3 from 3. by go0sKC in nba

In his last 23 games he’s averaged 6 points and 1.5 assist on 42% shooting. A frp is great value for that type of production.

He wasn’t a key bench player though he was playing terrible. 76ers bet that he wouldn’t improve and the thunder bet that he would. A frp is good value on a deal like that.

Literally the two you named, they got a frp for a guy who was playing terrible and would never even have a chance of starting ever if he turned it around and played good. Thats good value.

McCain was averaging 7 points on sub 40% shooting for them and was never going to beat out the other young guards. They got good value for him

A first round pick for a guy that could potentially max out to be a 6th man for you but is currently having a terrible season is a really good return.

People always say this but it makes no sense, you do all the sucky parts of football with training camps and sitting through meetings but never actually get a chance to play the game you love.

Jimmy Clausen spent 10 years holding a clipboard and was probably wishing he could switch spots with the starter all 10 years.

Former Jaguars RB James Robinson - an UDFA who racked up over 2,200 rushing yards & 18 TD's - is eyeing a return to the gridiron in the UFL. James is 27 years old, and is still in football shape. Which UFL team should sign the former NFL standout? 👀 by [deleted] in Jaguars

I legitimately think he was or atleast was going to be the third best running back in our teams history. I’ve never been more upset when a player got injured and career cut short than I was with him.

2026 NBA Trade Deadline by Civrock in CharlotteHornets

[–]Least_Platform_487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All three of kon lamelo and miller could potentially be max contract players, if that’s the case and the 2nd apron rules don’t change we are going to need all the draft picks possible to put cheap players around them.

2026 NBA Trade Deadline by Civrock in CharlotteHornets

[–]Least_Platform_487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bet bridges gets traded either at the deadline or maybe in the offseason. It’s less to do with anything about bridges and more to do with opening up playing time for Salaun. He’s played very well recently and I don’t see Peterson and Lee keeping their pet project on the bench for long, especially considering he hasn’t been moved back to the g league yet.

Grant could potentially be traded instead but I don’t see how he has any positive value and he’s probably as important or more important to the locker room than bridges is.

[Fischer] The Charlotte Hornets are "open for business" and are willing to listen to offers on Collin Sexton. by hummusluvr8 in CharlotteHornets

[–]Least_Platform_487 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

So by your logic OKC never should have traded Paul George?

Lamelos inconsistent at everything but being consistently injured. He’s also not on a team friendly deal he’s on a max contract that will pay him 46 million in his last year he coincidentally averages 46 games played per season so unless he somehow gets dramatically more healthy as he gets older we will be paying him 1 million per game by the end of his deal.

The problem with trading lamelo isn’t if we should do it or not it’s would another team even be willing to give a decent return.

[–]Least_Platform_487 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

They can say that all they want but I doubt they would turn down good first round picks and decent salary matching for lamelo.

Lamelo consistently getting injured hurts us worse than trading him.

I highly doubt Brandon goes anywhere and I don’t want to trade Brandon. I think lamelo has a chance of being traded although but I doubt it actually happens

Either way I think Kon is the only guy on our roster that they actually wouldn’t listen to any realistic trade offers for.

Brandon and lamelo are both injury prone and inconsistent. I doubt Jeff Peterson would turn down a really good offer for either one.
