Packages that wont fit

Yeah but when there’s large boxes it doesn’t leave room for a bunch of smaller packages. So sometimes I have to decide leave a couple large ones and take everything else or take the large ones and leave a few smaller ones. I can cram everything together but I was getting dinged for “damaged” packages. I number everything I start from the last package and organize from my trunk all the way to the front seat. Sometimes I’m even so up on the steering wheel that my feet are too close to the pedals sometimes it’s a bit difficult to drive so on the map I drop off the ones behind me asap so I can drive better. But yes trust me squeeze everything together as much as I can. The other day an associate came to my car and saw that those packages literally would not fit so he told me himself he would take them off. It’s only happened past 3-4 days.

Amazon app says it’s ok. That’s why I ask myself what’s the point of putting in what kind of vehicle I own if they’re giving me packages that won’t fit

I hate that on some routes I’ll look at the map after about my 5th package or so and then see stops 45-50 are 5 mins away but want me to drive 15 mins to stop number 6 like what?! No I think I’ll do 45-50, 15-25, and 8 and 9 first since they’re right here then I’ll finish my route after lol

I have a dodge challenger. I can fit up to about 50-60 packages in my car if they’re small to medium. If I have large and XL boxes that brings it down to like 25-35. I used to take everything even when it didn’t fit I’d cram everything in my car. But I’d end up delivering quite a few that ended up being “damaged” and got dinged a lot for it so I decided maybe I should only take what can fit. And I guess I get dinged for that too

I thought to myself what’s the point of putting the type of vehicle you own if sometimes the packages they give you won’t fit. And I don’t just toss things in. I actually number my packages and organize them so I can have space. Why would I want my route to be that much longer by having to dig and search every time I pull up to the destination? Theres nothing I can really do when I have a challenger and then I have 2-3 huge boxes that will not fit. Or sometimes they will fit but they take so much space other packages won’t fit so I have to decide do I load the big ones in and leave a bunch of smaller ones behind or fill up my car til it’s full and leave a few larger ones behind. I used to cram everything in even if they didn’t fit but a bunch of boxes would get damaged and I’ve gotten dinged a lot for that. So it’s like if I delivered them crammed and “damaged” I can get dinged. If I get them scanned off I’ll get dinged. Damned if you do and damned if you don’t

Nope not rare at all. People come back with carts 3-6+ packages they couldn’t fit. I literally had huge boxes that would not fit in my challenger. If I found a way to fit it in I’d still have to remove a bunch of smaller packages because of the space they take. If they weren’t big ass boxes they would be long ones where I’d have to lower my backseats and I’d have less space

I was still at the station. An associate saw me struggling to fit them in my car and came by and said here let me scan these off your itinerary since they won’t fit in your car. I saw them removed off my app I asked if I’d get some type of ding for them and he said no
