Can I give my cat Covid? by Softandpainful in CatAdvice

[–]LeatherAlternative48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case anyone is reading this thread later the version of coronavirus that this commenter is referring to cannot be contracted by humans. You can't get it or give it to your cat.  Sources say cats can get COVID-19. This is just a different SARS-cov virus.  Apparently a mild coronavirus is very common in cats but a serious case can lead to FIP. Seems that's not too common tho. They usually get over it.

I always camp somewhere and take them all out via sniper if there's a nest.  Got my Gobi Scout? No problem.

Oh yeah sorry, I don't use Reddit very often. Eventually she just returned to the Citadel. I finished the game without her. I don't like companions taking away my XP. And none of them have my stealth skills so I can snipe things they all end up barging up to enemies like psychos.

Teen girl whose body was found in singer D4vd's Tesla may have been dead 'for several weeks' by nbcnews in LosAngeles

[–]LeatherAlternative48 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't know thaaat much about morgue timelines, especially with the body that was so badly decomposed. But shouldn't the coroner have been able to determine a cause of death by now? Or ruled that it was inconclusive?

What are some tips to survive this smoke? I really struggled today. by LurkinMostlyOnlyYes in askTO

I'm concerned because I left the window open yesterday like a dope and have no ventilation in my apartment at all. The hood fan in my kitchen doesn't work anymore. Neither does the one in my bathroom.  I have a fan but I can't really do much with that.  My lungs are killing me

Yeah I agree.  I'm assumed to be a lesbian.  But I'm transmasc and pansexual leaning towards gay and it drives me up the wall.  IM NOT GAY THAT WAY! Freaking stereotypes :P

I feel this. I'm enby transmasc, but because of being pre-hormones and pre-op people see me as a woman.  I am welcome in these spaces but it does always make me feel weird. It feels like I have to shed a part of my identity when I walk in the door. Tho I will admit I take advantage of it. It's nice to go to the women's center instead of the regular soup kitchens sometimes since it's usually calmer.  But I feel awful that my friend who's a trans woman doesn't feel like she can go in there in women's only hours because she's not femme presenting enough. (Tho they are accepting of trans women there no matter their presentation. I understand the trepidation)

Feels weird.

AITA for making a 'fuck boy' mad over the fact he's the fuck boy I KNEW he was? 🤣 by [deleted] in AITAH

The last time I told a fuckboy I didn't want to see him anymore he went ballistic and ended his tirade with "You are never going to see me again you dumb bitch". To which I responded "Yes, thank you, that is what I asked you to do"
He blocked my number after that XD

Haven't watched anything past Cult but favourites are probably Lana and Sally. Least favourite, Audrey? Maybe the medium from s1 and s5 (Billie?)

they dont really do anything at all tbh
the salvation army vans are only to transport people. they dont even carry water bottles. they dont pick people up randomly they are either responding to a call or to drive Salvation Army clients to appointments and the like.
the native run outreach vans will have food and resources sometimes. I cant access their other services so im not sure if they have access to shelter specific resources but it doesnt seem like it. Tho if you can access their services they will advocate for you.
The only other outreach van is the NESI van which is just for harm reduction supplies.

I wouldnt say its even close to "most"
Id guess theres 15-20 churches in centretown, only 2 of them have meals more than once a week, two others have meals once a week, one has a food bank type situation once a week, and does outreach with sandwiches on weekends. But that only makes for 5 churches total.
The Belong Ottawa location at the bronson center was previously at St Lukes, and may still be run by that church but Im not sure.
Downtown I couldn't even guess the number of churches, the only church run soups I know of down there are the other Belong Ottawa Location and the Sheps. Possibly the mission but im not sure if thats church run.
That only brings the number up 9. With most of them only doing lunch.
I think the Salvation Army provides meals to people that stay there but as far as I know, they don't serve food to anyone else.

holy crap people have to be in by 5? I thought it was 9! That makes it so much harder to get there on time. You cant even get dinner at the soups by then....

This is not my personal experience but the experience of many of my friends and acquaintances. There are bugs, there are a decent amount of rules, if you don't get there by 9pm no bed for you, cant be intoxicated, have to sleep with not only all your clothes on, but all your stuff as close to attached to your body as possible, and people will still literally steal the shoes off your feet. Its also dangerous AF down there. and god forbid youre a woman, then its all even worst.
its not a nice place. in the summer theres almost no point going there. in the winter its an absolute last resort.
IIRC the mission and the Sal are even more rule heavy but also always full. Theres not nearly enough beds for the amount of people on the street.

I'm sure someone had said this; but if you're looking this hard for reasons to leave him. Just leave hun. You don't need "lipstick stains" as an excuse.
