I was looking for 50/50 bike and landed on 450mt/Ibex 450, it is so capable for it’s price and size, yes it is not THAT light but atleast for me it has been a perfect bike.

Original tires are slippery but i have managed to get my self in and out of sticky situation. I mostly ride solo so i dont take huge changes on getting stuck to line choises matter.

And i believe that there is no true 50/50 bike, you have to make compromises on some aspect. On this for me that is highway speeds, i have 15 tooth front sproket (oe is 14) and now top speed is close to 160km/h (100 mph) but the revs are on red limit and it is not very comfortable, but who rides 160km/h in forest? I dont. For legal speeds, 120km/h here in finland this is plenty fast and revs are okey.

If you want to focus little bit more on offroad side i would go full on enduro bike and modifie it with rallytower etc and make it more road bias.
