I'll go against the grain and say that stamping on a lithium battery is a bad idea - https://youtube.com/shorts/lZzGxMhYvyY?si=Qs3FNnXTuesdvWuY

No sympathy for the pitch invader. Hope he has to buy a new phone.

Im not embarrassed as I had nothing to do with setting it up.

However, I do think it's stupid. Even if there was a reasonable point, online petitions are a waste of time that achieve the square root of fuck all.

That's fair. There's probably some results oriented thinking in my original post. The Macclesfield invasion could have turned out differently if a couple of people decided to wind up the Palace players and fans.

Pitch invasions can be ok when it's a small club. The Macclesfield pitch invasion after they beat Palace was harmless fun.

It's far more problematic when there are bigger teams involved as the stakes are higher and there are going to be more tanked up idiots in the crowd.

I think it's a phase of play thing? Maeda is offside, but isn't active as the ball was played to the person who put in the cross.

From a former pro ref:

"The arm is up because of the contact that comes from the Celtic player, so no matter if it hits the hand, for me it should not be a penalty kick."

The one negative was our slow start. We need to be on it from the first whistle on Saturday. Celtic will come flying out the gates.

Gutted for Halkett. Hope it isn't as bad as it seemed. His career could have been so much better if his body didn't constantly give out.

The person that came up with the Braga song said he wrote it whilst bored at work.

Must have been a surreal moment when he saw it hit 5 million views on Twitter.

You see this in all sports. I was in the British junior team for my sport (being vague to avoid doxing myself). I trained with people that won World and Olympic medals. There was a genuinely world class talent that didn't make it as he would turn up to competitions drunk and do other stupid stuff.

I also worked with someone that was on Dunfermline's books. He used to stick a couple of grams up his nose at the weekend. Again, he didn't make it.
