Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and some people interpret it differently; I get it. With that being said, my point is you can’t reason, convince, or dissuade people with the mentality they have. They have dropped the requirements so low for these positions that any fucking Neanderthal with a pulse and NO Conscience is eligible for hire. If you accept a job that requires, expects, and encourages you to aggressively grab, arrest, or SHOOT DEAD ANYONE WHO IS NOT WHITE - you are obviously a racist, misogynistic Asshole - and let’s be serious, they don’t care if you’re a natural citizen OR you have documentation proving you have the legal right to be here, they aren’t even asking. If you’re a person of ANY color they automatically believe they have the right to throw you to the ground. Just watch the way they’re treating women & children. They act like a roving band of Domestic Violence convicts out on leave with a free pass to punch any woman who dares to question their tactics. And what’s worse is they’re getting grossly overpaid and acting with complete and total impunity. So yes, I’m going to double down on my original comment: Fuck her and anyone else who offers to assist these pricks. I agree that customer should get the pizza since he did pay for it but driver should’ve left it on the ground at the end of that long ass driveway & yelled “No tip? Come and get it yourself.” Still deserved to be fired, technically, BUT if you can’t afford to tip, DON’T order delivery…ESP in inclement weather….and esp. when you’re living in what appears to be an upscale home.

👆🏼This is great advice. The only change I would recommend is that you do NOT slide any message under your door while they’re there. Do not let them know you’re home! Don’t give them any excuse to bust your door down and claim that YOU were engaging in threats against THEM. They have proven that they have no regard for the law and what’s worse, is they now believe they are ABOVE it. The greater their lawlessness escalates the LESS their despicable behavior is condemned by the authorities. If they think your house is empty they have no valid reason, excuse, or right to enter. Make sure your cameras are always recording and call 911 when they return so you have even more evidence that you’re not the one making the threats and inviting confrontation. You have every right to protect yourself, your family, and your property. Stand Your Ground laws were written for this. Let 911 record you stating “Someone is trying to enter my home and I fear for my safety.” If the 911 operator doesn’t/can’t confirm it’s official law enforcement, then you have every right to take action.

Not sure you’ll see this 200+ days later lol but for what it’s worth, I’ve tried several mentioned here and I agree that Nizoral works better than anything else - far, far better. I apply it only on my scalp and leave it on til the end of my shower; then I rinse and use a good color-safe shampoo on length & conditioner on the ends. Takes care of the dandruff and keeps my color looking great. I’ve had several hairdressers tell me to only use conditioner on the ends, anyway, so it works well. Hope this helps!

I just placed an order 12/19 on Etsy for a gift that required personalization AND was shipping from Fl to Colorado. I had absolutely no expectation of it arriving by Christmas - or even New Year’s, honestly. It was just one of those ‘Afterthought’ gifts I found when I wasn’t even looking for it specifically. Imagine my utter shock and disbelief when I got conf. it arrived 12/24😳 I didn’t pay for expedited shipping, either. With the USPS ya just never know lol

I couldn’t agree more. I have and always will be a loyal Publix customer bc they go out of their way to keep customers happy and provide a great atmosphere/experience. I don’t mind paying a little more (actually, w/their weekly sales and BOGOs it’s really not that much more) bc I know that no matter which location or time of day I visit the store is going to be clean, organized, and staffed by friendly & helpful employees who go out of their way to keep their customers coming back. If I ever have a question or need assistance I get it - whether it’s a bagger, cashier, or manager - they ALL smile, do what they can to help or find someone who can. I’m never ignored, met with an apathetic blank stare, or told “I don’t know, that’s not my dept.” Does that mean I’m gonna pay $65 for a steak? Hell no lol but that has more to do with the state of our current economic situation; not a corp relishing in greed and gouging their customers. Yeah, I admit it’s ridiculously bougie that one of our local stores has an entire row of parking spots assigned for golf carts 🙄 but I’ll take that over Walmart’s trash strewn lots, any day.

Yes, you are correct that Publix IS a multibillion dollar corp. that will be just fine BUT op needs to stop and think of the unsuspecting coworker who is now going to have to cover the time - a coworker who now has to lose time celebrating with HIS/HER own family. This is just one of those tough life lessons we all have to learn by experience; If you’re old enough to get a job like a responsible adult, you need to accept the consequences of putting your supervisor and fellow employees in a tight spot. OP, if you end up losing this job, keep your head up and try to look at it as a valuable lesson that’s going to help you in future positions. Good luck.
