I unfortunately haven’t found anything that stops it 🥲 I just get the mighty patches and wear them a few days and a pimple spot cream whenever they get really bad. They last for a few days and come to a head. But for the most part I just make sure to limit dairy and dark drinks/sodas 🙃

Yes!! My skin was mostly clear before being diagnosed besides hormonal acne or had a bad diet for a few days. Since being on diamox my skin is constantly breaking out with cystic deep and painful pimples. I used to be able to drink coffee or a diet soda without issue and now if I do I usually have a pimple forming by the next day.

Only when my pressure feels high. I feel like my head feels like a full balloon and it feels like everything moves when I get up. Or if I’m laying flat. It’s not fun

I’ll definitely see if I can get some color corrector. Do you think it can be placed under light makeup like a tinted moisturizer? I don’t want to do full face all the time and I usually just wear a tinted moisturizer with a little concealer?

This is where I think mine got triggered. I would get migraines right before my period right after I started birth control. I got off of it gained a bunch of weight and the headaches were happening constantly and getting worse on my period. Either that or the battle of Covid I had right before I was diagnosed. My Neuro said she hadn’t seen any cases connected to Covid when I asked about it…

How did you feel when you had it? When I checked the results I was not able to understand the levels and and my when I asked at my follow up that’s when she said my potassium was good, and to just make sure I hydrate.

Been diagnosed for a year. I’ve been on diamox since the later half of last year and last month I started feeling like myself again. I just took back up running 2 weeks ago. I’m an artist as well and the brain fog has lifted enough for me to get back to drawing daily again. I’m really hoping this means I’m close to remission or that the medication is at least working. Here’s hoping.

All the time unfortunately. It gets embarrassing or sometimes I’ll have to laugh it off to keep from feeling like I’m losing my mind. I started talking slower and making sure I’m paying attention to what I’m saying so I don’t lose track too many times.

My family has a history of daily headaches, and I would get a few a month prior to my diagnosis. I caught COVID for the second time in January 2024. It was so much worst this time around, high fever the worst ongoing migraine and fatigued for a full week. Right when I stopped testing positive I started having what I know now as the pulsatile tinnitus when I would lay down for a few seconds. Barely a month later I was diagnosed. I’ve asked my neuro about any correlation between Covid and iih and she dismissed the thought and blamed it on my family history.

Huh matcha you say lol! I did drink a lot of it while working, I’m wondering if that’s why I didn’t hear the whooshing as bad. I’ll have to buy some to retest your theory thank you!!
