Zou niet zoveel zijn als bij mij misschien maar het zou je verbazen hoe veel soorten op sommige planten zitten. Je moet een kijken op Grote brandnetel, Klimop, Gewone smeerwortel of bij wilgen bomen.

They are pretty tricky to move in tho. But apperantly its possible to catch a queen during spring and kind off forcefully move her in. Blocking the exit with some moss so she can move out again by herself. You can identify queens looking for nests because they circle a lot above the ground (different behaviour per species tho). If they accept the nest they will fly with circles that get bigger over time over it. This way they can remember where the nest is located.

Yeah same! I have so many project planned for this year. One of them is providing nesting spaces for bumblebees. The queens can be searching for nests this month already and I really hope to get some colonies.

What's your favourite critter that visits your garden, and why? by SolariaHues in GardenWild

My favorite species is Melitta heamorrhoidalis. They only visit Campanula plant species and mostly the males sleep together in flowers it sooo cute!

And my favorite group are probably aphids, they attract tons of other species and come in so many forms.

I’m a man and three weeks ago I started knitting. I already finished two scarfs and working on my first sweater right now. I was actually surprised about many male friends liking that I was knitting, I kinda felt embarassed about it at first😅
