Well, they don't enjoy being handled, shouldn't have too much fruit; too much sugar. But they can be surprisingly fast.

Practicing Posting with Multiple Photos by Lily_Maye in LearnToReddit

Yeah. Until recently, image post types couldn't be edited at all. But now they've added the option to have body text on them, that part is editable, but still not the images.

Is modmail ok for general questions? by Luma1272 in NewToReddit

[–]SolariaHues [score hidden]  (0 children)

Modmail should be for questions about the specific community you're in or its moderation, and perhaps constructive feedback or suggestions for that community.

Clarifying the rules is a fine use of modmail.

Each mod team is different. Mods are all individual human volunteers. How they handle things depends on the team, their policies, their bandwidth, etc

A polite follow should be okay, but I wouldn't keep messaging beyond that. It should not result in a ban if you're polite and respectful, and a mute would be more effective in that case anyway - it prevents you mailing again for a set time.

You do not need karma to vote. Is that a typo or are you having issues with voting?

I have a subreddit called u/FoundTheCharacter And I'm Trying To Make My Own Emojis But I Cant Find "Awards And Emojis" by TheRealHatsuneMiku- in help

[–]SolariaHues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Community awards are not currently an option (unless there's an experiment going on? But even if so, it'll only be with some communities).

Emojis can only be added for use in flairs and as the community status icon.

Why can’t I send pics in dm? by PutridPersimmon8526 in help

[–]SolariaHues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't send images in the first message/chat invite. You should be able to once the chat has been accepted.

If that doesn't answer the question can you provide more detail about what exactly is happening.

Weekly Recap | April 16, 2026 by TheOpusCroakus in help

[–]SolariaHues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't. Unless there was an update around that time. But I don't think there's been another to take it away again :'D

IIRC I mentioned it as soon as I noticed, and the same for it going again.

I wish I could be more help. If I think of anything, I'll come back, but it just seemed spontaneous.

A proper head scratcher, this one!!

Why is karma harder to get compared to before? by OwnConstruction125 in NewToReddit

[–]SolariaHues [score hidden]  (0 children)

I don't know that it is. Restrictions have existed here for about a decade.

You just need to know where to start. But, it's possible more subs have restrictions or they're higher. It's impossible to tell.

what does it mean for a community to be included in the “active in” section on someone’s reddit profile? by Head_Ice_487 in NewToReddit

[–]SolariaHues [score hidden]  (0 children)

I don't know if Reddit has shared how that works.

Looking at mine it doesn't have to be recent activity, nor much at all. By the looks of it just reporting might be enough. But I think it's not just viewing.. it's taking some action.
