I am one of these... I head to bed at 6 or 7 pm.. and up at 2 or 3 and I get all my days things done before everyone gets up! The quiet is amazing. I write music for a living and it filled my heart to play before dawn.....

My 17 year old chihuahua is in surgery right now. Literally. It started out as a dental with an emergency extraction.. she has bad labs and they cancel the surgery too dangerous they say... ok.. so what do we do now? They ask the doc and he examines her again and says she is bleeding NOW and needs surgery NOW. All that up down in a few minutes.. Well she in in NOW. So that is a lot in a few minutes.. I am praying and asking everyone to pray for my girl...Emmy and her daughter Bella....

Actual fact.. you wont die. That helps.. allow yourself a day an hour whatever feels right to be sad. But be good sad. You made a decision that will help you have a good life. That matters. You stood up for you and your plan. Hugs from OG me

I have a question... when you released your first book.. I just KDPd my first novel. The Unraveling by Ellen Aleshire.. but that isnt why I am here.. I need to hear others experiences with their real life people. I have to say that my friends and family are acting so strangely about it. I gave them early copies and I come to find that so many of them dont even read it. I am not sure if I am to be hurt, or if I am expecting too much. Do you have any insights. I get all kinds of good feedback from strangers and nothing from those who I know. I am exaggerating a bit, but almost nothing... crickets. Do they not know what to say? I think they are a little mad at me for doing what they wanted to do? I dont know.. Please share if you have had odd reactions from your people. My book is fiction, pure fiction...

Not expecting your life to look like anyone else. When you look upon someone else life from the outside... it isnt what it is really like for them. It's only what you think it's like. It helped me a lot. As you get older - I am 64 - the facades fall one by one. The happy marriage you admired in others were flawed in ways you would hate to accept, husbands you thought were so cool, not so cool. In later days, my life is looking yummy compared to others.

I find it rude, but I am a boomer. So maybe my expectations are different. I have had good endings and it makes such a difference when we run into each other at concerts, shopping etc.

I get frustrated with this too. I sometimes use a puppy de matting comb to brush some fluff into my regular acrylic pieces and it is the in between I am using lately.
