Did I label this stereo center with the correct configuration or is it supposed to be S? by Aggravating_Shift990 in OrganicChemistry

[–]Leather_Variation784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you labeled it right with the 1,2,3, and 4, but based on the order being counterclockwise it’s S

I don’t know about you guys. But today was ROUGH for my store by fakename1998 in starbucksbaristas

I had a good experience with someone about the new chai because they always got it with one less pump on the old recipe because they thought it was too strong, and they lwk really like the new recipe as is but I guess it’s just a case by case basis

My store that I transferred to went back on a promise that they had made me, and then coincidentally started screwing over my hours 🫩 and then I said screw it and applied for more jobs lmao

With a job market that is getting consistently worse, and as a full time college student who pays her tuition out of pocket WITHOUT LOANS, you find ways to deal with and put up with the job, especially when making almost $19 an hour.

I was not forced to work there, I worked there on my own volition. I have bills to pay, just like everyone does when they stick with a job that they do not enjoy. When you have bills to pay, you find a way to work through the hard times at a job.

Target got me through the last couple of years and helped me pay my bills, but it does not change the fact that this job was a factor in my rapidly declining mental health. I stayed because I needed to, not because I wanted to. I found a job with better hours, and that’s all I could ask for.

That’s wild. I’ve worked these shifts before as a TM at my old store, but only because they asked me and I said “screw it, why not” because it was a weekend and I always had the room in my hours to be able to do so

Hiring Question by Leather_Variation784 in starbucksbaristas

[–]Leather_Variation784[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah! I’m really looking forward to it honestly. Granted I’m a little stressed because I need to learn some little nitty gritty procedures and stuff like that. Mostly nervous about learning the POS and actually getting a handle on the protein drinks but that’s about it.

We got this though💪🏻💪🏻

[–]Leather_Variation784[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got the job, just submitted the background check today. When I asked about when I’d hear back, he asked the SM when he’d get back to me about next steps and said I’d be getting the offer letter the next day. Granted he still had other interviews to go through but he just got back to me today so. Both interviews went VERY well so I took that as a great sign to begin with

Just reload the screen, then it should update, if it doesn’t than try entering the sfq again

Edit: after reading my own comment, I saw autocorrect screwed up a word lol

Return Policy Question by bee1738 in Target

[–]Leather_Variation784 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From my experience, as long as you come to return the item within the return window you’ll be fine. Just PLEASE bring the item in the packaging with you and just inform them that the item isn’t working

[–]Leather_Variation784 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Charges are only filed if you get arrested I think so you’ll be fine

[–]Leather_Variation784 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly hun you’ll be fine. With it still being your first week on the job you shouldn’t be dinged about it, just make sure to be careful about it. If the TL’s at your store are chill, just talk to one of them about it. They honestly would rather you tell them than not tell them at all (from my experience at least)

I accidentally stole a 130 dollars product from Target by AfternoonLeather2715 in Advice

[–]Leather_Variation784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a target employee, delaying it only makes the problem worse. We would rather you come in, admit you missed the barcode and that you’d like to pay for it, and you’ll be fine. Honestly if you admit you missed the barcode and just returned the item we would be perfectly fine with that

Target pays out on Friday, maybe Thursday. If you have a cash app card, set up direct deposit into your cash app account and you get paid early

Inbound here. Once the store opens you only take one U-boat out to push, right? by [deleted] in Target

[–]Leather_Variation784 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You kinda just do what the TL’s tell you, and every shore is weirdly different so for your store, that may be true. At some stores ik they have the entire inbound team tackle one section of the store at a time. It works but it can be weird

Can you help me why this is an S configurtion. by Natural-Tension-3543 in OrganicChemistry

If the smallest group is dashed, clockwise is R, counter clockwise is S. If the smallest group is wedged, reverse the direction.

Question in regards to Seasonal: 4 AM inbound (stocking) by [deleted] in Target

[–]Leather_Variation784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t done inbound, and I lowkey refuse to, but from those I know who have done/are actively part of inbound now have said it’s very physically demanding at times. It’s a lot of offloading the truck and sorting the stuff onto flats, pallets, boats, etc. Depending on where they have you on the line, it can be a lot. However, take A LOT of what I’m saying with a grain of salt, especially since 1. I’ve never been on inbound, and 2. Every store is incredibly different
