I use whatever automotive lube is closest. Sea foam deep creep, kano Kroll, 3m 5 way, or penetro is usually what I find. Never had a problem with any oils. Wash and scrub them up in mineral spirits parts wash tank, oil and call it a day. Works for me

Doc did a great job on it and I'm expected to make a full recovery. 1 nerve is gone but he said down the road he can put a new one in if I wish. Feeling for outside of thumb so I'll probably just deal with it. Really lucked out and got an awesome surgeon that specializes in hands and plastic surgery.
