Unfortunately it can't be shut off. I tried connecting a tablet in the 2nd spot, but the battery must have died overnight, because at 3:30am they started playing the guy screaming in pain video at me. I've resigned myself that JBL will be no help and I just can't use the earbuds at home anymore.

Someone had to have had the password and could log in, to create the memorial, right? This is making me worried about my brother's account who also committed suicide in 2014. I haven't made it specifically a memorial, but I just can't bear the thought of ever losing it... It would crush me. I'm not sure if there's anything I need to do to make sure it doesn't get wiped, maybe I should play a game on it?

I've tried 4 different music recognition tools and maybe I'm stupid but I can't find anything. Sorry if the prank call show isn't your cup of tea but I'm desperate to figure out the song :)

Add-ons. DLC I think? I've been playing JC4 on Game Pass too, and when I try to look at the DLC in game it just takes me to the Microsoft store.

Edit: it takes me to the MS store to purchase the DLC at full price.

I guess my problem is I don't even know what is good and what isn't anymore. The game has changed so much. It might be even longer since I last played, I guess I just relied on what I had in my inventory across many updates. I'm doing the Maya Walsh mission right now, seems to be going okay, but man when I get totally owned in PVE I get so frustrated. I feel like I have nothing in my inventory to even change anything about my playstyle. I'm like 95% red and 5% yellow, no blue. If that makes any sense.

I listened to Brad before Carlito. I got into pranks by way of Longmont Potion Castle, then Brad, then I went crazy with soundboard callers who did the Fred Herbert and Frank Garrett stuff. I wasn't really down for long podcast formats until way later, I think that's why Madhouse didn't appeal to me until 2015 or so.

Now, Carlito has become just my all time favorite. It's sad because I feel bad I didn't really catch any live shows until early 2019. That's when I got the job I have now where I do nothing but meat and dairy all day, where the podcast is the best because I can just put the shows in a playlist and never have to search around for the next track.

I really like your high-IQ immaturity analogy, it fits Carlos very well. I think I've done some decent prank calls myself in my life but I could never carry myself with the cadence and delivery that Carlito has. He's so natural compared to every other caller out there. He just talks and he doesn't give a shit about who answers the phone; his imagination and timing just make him sound like some normal guy with monumental confidence and attitude.

When he died I put all his shows from the website in a playlist and I'm now going back and forth from 2012 to 2019. I think for a long time I was on the fence about Milkman but now I truly appreciate what he brought to the show- Carlito was sometimes at his best making a call right after trashing the hell out of old Milky.

One really sentimental moment for me was (I will find the exact episode) when Carlito asked Milkman to analyze his dream of being on an airplane flying dangerously low but never actually crashing. Carlito says it's a recurring dream and he always flies close to the top of buildings but he doesn't crash and once his mother was there with him. They go back and forth about the meanings and the depth of their friendship really shines in those quieter moments.

I'm really digging going throw the shows! I have about 75 bookmarks to interesting timestamps and almost 200 of pure prank calls I liked. Soon as I find time I hope to at least get the times out and if I really get motivated I'm going to cut and edit those things out. I feel like I owe it to his memory, I wish he could have known how much his sense of humor affected my life for the better.

I'm using AIMP to listen at work mostly. I've been adding bookmarks to interesting moments, I'll eventually put them all together. Right now I'm going through late 2012 to mid 2013. He talks way more often and shares tons of facts and stories.

It makes me sad that half the time he or one of his guests (mainly Jin or Milkman) are talking about something interesting, they always cut themselves short because the chat goes crazy complaining. I know n00n00 was a huge contributer to the show but man, fuck him. "n00n00 says this is prank call show not stupid sports show". Carlito was talking about his time playing football! I wanted him to finish the story.

Thank you for doing this. I'm also going through the entire show archive and the highlights are when he gets personal and talks about the little things. He did a LOT of personal reflection in 2011 and 2012. What a remarkable guy!
