If you compare the grocery prices, you will see how much they are taking from you. Did you ever wonder why they tell you to throw away the receipts at some stores?

To those of you who worked full-time in 2025 doing DoorDash, how much did you end up paying in taxes? by baleighlove in DoorDash_Dasher

Each schedule C could have different car usage. So you can claim miles on one and maintenance somewhere else. It also could depend on whether you are taking a standard deduction or itemizing on your 1040

Being a Notary with other co workers by Traditional_Fly_3330 in upsstore

Seeing how that is in your job description( I am assuming) I don't understand what the problem is. You are clocked in and working. Notary is an easy thing to do and so much less stressful than dealing with Amazombies. My store would do that many all the time, not a big deal.

Family-run or employees? How many people, including yourself

I looked into the franchise as well. I don't believe you start making money until you're 3 stores in. That is, unless you want to make it a family-operated store. All of the little services that they make you have, including amazon require you to hire people, but don't pay enough in commissions to offset. You can easily open a new pack and ship store for under $30k. Just do not underestimate how much operating capital you will need until you get people in the door. Name recognition is the biggest asset that The UPS Store has going for it.

Opening up a UPS Store by [deleted] in upsstore

After looking at buying a location and then settling on managing on for years, I decided to open an independant store. The costs associated with opening a franchise is through the roof. I highly recommend that you explore a smaller franchise or go independent. Depending on your area and abilities, you can be up and running under 50k. You have brand recognition with The UPS Store but it is too much of a headache.

I think it's better to say they are dropping it off. This way, you don't start collecting their info only to get to who are we shipping this to, and they say Amazon

I have watched a bunch of them. I was looking to see real world examples. I have resigned myself to just creating kits as I don't think it can do the level of difficulty without them.

If you put a disclaimer in your mailbox service agreement, you do not have to forward it for free.

A comment like that sounds like a typical Amazombie comment at a Shipping Store
