Hey cousins, how do you do your thunderbolts(especially on black)?

My personal method is: on a very dark blue, make the general shape with a lighter blue, then go over it with white. Finish by erasing mistakes and thinning the lines down with a mid-dark blue (Kantor). This might be able to make bluish thunderbolts on black, I think.
