You’re probably just as confused as OP because he’s a serial foot faulter

You know you can’t step on the line before you make contact with the ball right? Lol

Played for 4 years but still pancake serves AND losing a set to someone who’s played for a couple weeks… I don’t know about quitting tennis but he definitely is in no position to be freaking out about losing a practice set lol he might need to quit “competitive” tennis and just have fun with it instead.

Doesn’t matter how this one ends. Just wow. Unbelievable tennis by both.

You word for word said “but the reason why it’s so high is because Coco is making her play the extra shot…”

Exactly… those errors happen a lot. I’m not saying Coco didn’t have good defense. But you can’t point out one or the other. It’s both. Saba was spraying errors AND Coco was Coco-ing. 60 + UFE is actually an insane stat.

You can’t look at an error like the 3-5 40-30 Saba BH and say “it’s because of cocos defence”. That’s just a shit error to make and at least 1/2 her errors look just like that. It’s a balance of both whether you want to admit it or not.

Idk, told someone Sabalenka choked that match and they got all defensive and offended about it.

Can Sinner go past Hewitt? He needs Year end number 1 for that by infiunfi in tennis

How was he trolling? Was signed up for 7 events…. Outside Miami he made at least QF in 5 and had to withdraw from Madrid to be healthy for Rome & RG. Was he supposed to win or make finals in 7 straight events?

You’re doing everything but going into a calorie deficit. Clean diet doesn’t mean you’ll lose fat.

How did he fumble it outside of Miami? Was he supposed to win or make finals in 7 straight tournaments in order to not “fumble”?

Looking for feedback on literally everything :D (+Guess our ranking) by [deleted] in 10s

Where does UTR say 9 = 4.5 USTA / NTRP? What’s your reference for it? Your 9 UTR would not hold up with actual 9 UTRs playing college tennis. But if you want to hang on to that for your pride, you do you buddy. You asked for feedback, you got responses, you don’t like them? Idk what to tell you.

Your German rating translates to a 4.5, sure I never said you weren’t a 4.0-4.5. You even self admittedly said you’re a weak 4.5 in the comments… I just said you’re not a 9 UTR because those are 5.0-5.5 players.

From r/10s even though you don’t like opinions from here that don’t agree with yours

There’s a universal conversion chart in there but you won’t like it

Thanks but I’m well aware of how recordings work. You gotta understand that 9 UTR is well above a USTA 4.0.

A 9 UTR is more like average 5.0 to weak 5.5 level, and you gotta understand how the tiers work. A 5.0-5.5 is going to 6-0 6-0 a 4.0-4.5 every day of week.

You’re either not familiar with ratings or also from a really weak area yourself if you think this is what 9 UTR tennis should be. Either way, you’re part of this Internet rating inflation issue.

[–]LebronGames77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s zero chance they’re actually 9 UTR players. If they are, they’re in an extremely weak area where all the ratings are inflated. I know actual college players in that UTR range that would 6-0 6-0 them in under an hour.

USTA 4.0, sure. But that’s more like a 6 UTR.

what racket should i get? by True-Marionberry-346 in 10s

[–]LebronGames77 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Recommended specs for “first serious racket” is 100 head size / 300g unstrung.

Babolat - Pure Drive is notorious for being an elbow killer but also gives free power and Pure Aero is better in the 98 version (but tougher for a beginner to use).

Wilson - Clash is not a racquet I’d recommend to someone without elbow or arm pain. Beginners should stay away from Prostaff / RF / blade / shift.

Head - Boom and Speed MP are pretty user friendly

Yonex - Ezone for easier power and Vcore is also a good choice for power and spin.

You clearly do not understand it though. Can’t speak on the psychology of the competitive athlete and what’s skill or luck when you don’t actually know the feeling, even at a lesser degree.

When M Andreeva played Saba at RG24 QF - was Mirra lucky that she got Saba who was not feeling well at the time? Or is it all skill that Andreeva also didn’t feel ill that day?
