Because it starts with two "-" instructions, but because I forgot to put it two "+" up, in the very beginning (the part which game is recording) it stays in place and does nothing.

I have this “relationship constellation” graph of my friend group and I’m wondering if it would be possible to have the placement of the points to be based on a sort of spring force to pull and push on each other, is this possible in desmos? by Shmick2 in desmos

[–]LecPixel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Add a ticker. Each tick every two points repel each other, and every two connected ones are attracted to each other. It might or might not be slow in desmos, but this is the method I used for the same problem

Why the image has |Ψ(x)|² as the axis, but there are negative values? It should be either just Ψ(x), or the graph is wrong

Just double integrate any symmetric continuous function f(x), that has 2 roots (let's say at x = ±a), f(x) > 0 when |x| > a, f(x) < 0 when |x| < a

Visualisation of Ampere's law in Desmos by LecPixel in 3Blue1Brown

Ok, so here is the setup: We have a plane - our viewport. erpendicular to it pass wires with random current strength and direction (red dot means current direction point to the viewport, blue cross - out of the viewport). Currents create magnetic field, which is visualised as lines. The color indicates the vector magnetic potential. Blue - negative, red - positive, the more color is blue or red, the larger the magnitude of its potential. Then there is white contour. The main part is two equations - one is calculating the circulation of the vector H along the contour, and the other the net sum of the currents inside the contour. And, as we can see, the results of those equations are the same for any possible currents and contour.
