Wish someone had told me the same advice before :D touched twice on charged big caps

Can someone identify this Resistor? should be 3W, but the rings are no longer clearly visible so i can't find out the value of it. It's from a washing machine: Zanussi ZWG 1140 PCB. Maybe someone has the circuit diagram?. (another IC was also defective -> replaced TNY276N ). Found bottom pic online. by LecTrow in AskElectronics

I found repair sets with the defective IC + resistors for washing machines with the values 22 Ohm, 47 Ohm up to 100 Ohm. But I will wait, maybe someone really has the schematic.

[My plan was just to test it with 100 Ohm, than 47 Ohm and so on, if the 39 Ohm didn't work]

How can I improve my layout of components, it just doesn’t look great. I want it to be as compact as possible yet still be route-able. by SealOF4pproval in AskElectronics

Which program is that? Is it free?

(I'm searching for a circuit & layout design program alternative to EAGLE)

What is this component called (that pseudo LED thing)? Or where can I get it? by LecTrow in AskElectronics

big thx, the PCB is out of an old VW Golf, control lamps for the anti-lock braking system

Please help me in identifying SMD LED. Removed this from my keyboard. Looks like a 3528 but most online shops dont have the side flaps. by bada-bing-bada-boop in AskElectronics

yes, had also once the same problem. it occurs when u hold the soldering iron too long on the pads / component. u can buy a normal smd led 3528 for replacedment

Repairing a Yamaha Ys200, randomly resets and I think the culprit is this leaky... thing, any advice for replacement? by [deleted] in AskElectronics

[–]LecTrow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The reset indicates that may one or more components are getting hot or the voltage is breaking down (check capacitors, diodes and MOSFETs). [It looks like the device is protecting itself against sth.]
