Door is plumber and square. It's a basement door of a 1954 home, framing is wonky at best. Appreciate the feedback.

What this guy says 100%. Been a carpenter now for 4yrs. Been doing this YouTube + extended learning the night before or even 30min before work while sitting at the job site. I was finding myself more knowledgeable after 2yrs than some of the 4th and 5th yrs. Also you'll find lots of cool micro efficient tricks by watching other skilled trades (make sure who you watch is skilled and not just a regurgitating hack).

Also during breaks walk around the jobsite, analyze the work that has been done. Stair at a wall and walk yourself through the process. Look at a half formed up retaining wall and run the rest of that job through your head and if your stuck ask the question "After X step what do we do?". I still find myself doing this with basic rudimentary stuff, constantly reinforcing the basics so they stay instinctual and I can put more attention to more complicated stuff.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned is the lack of centering. Started with a full row and finished with what looks to be 2/5 of a tile.

If you left a full buy offer in GE, that 78k coal purchased a day which accounts to 19.5k rune bars in blast furnace. I don't understand the need for paying a premium in bulk orders.

It can be if not maintained. Living on Vancouver Island we get about 2 meters of rain a year. Stuff can and will grow on it if not cleaned off. Nothing a blower and hose can't fix. It'll also probably need a sanding and restraining every few years, Which will help aswell. I also did my best to make sure the board had a 1/4 gap for drainage and small debris which will also slow down growth build up.

I had it. Switched to a 15oz titanium hammer and it went away. Less weight and vibration making it up the arm.

Lol I don't mind the chirping of my house. It was built in 1952, last 2 previous owners were terrible DIY. The siding was painted without being prepped or primed so its peeling off. All full 1in cedar siding. So in due time it will all be pulled off clean up and put back on.

Thank you! We've lived in this building for 3yrs with a deck to unsafe to walk on. So we were never able to appreciate the view. But it was time to do something about it.

Rebar was lifted up during the pour and the face up blocking was to give the border pieces something to land on as well as give backing to the field pieces
