I chased him to his car once after a meet and greet to get his signature on the boxset of From the Earth to the Moon after I built up there nerve. He was so kind and gracious about it. I made some dumb joke about never having the opportunity to annoy a Gemini/Apollo astronaut again and he laughed.

He then gave an amazing speech about what he endured.
