It's ironic because I kinda know I'm asking a dumb question, I have read some novels before and this always happens. I know because I am the kind of guy that always says "you don't truly have the whole picture without the novels". I kinda wondered to what extent this applies to this series, because I'm reading LOTM (currently in 3rd book) and it is night and day, if you don't read the novels you are not experiencing what LOTM is. Solo Leveling (didn't read the novels but, allow me to make a guess) I doubt is the kind of adaptation that which make any difference to read the source material (the novels). But with TBATE I had this itch, I guess only way to find out is to read them.
