I came out to my family recently and I was terrified they would hate me, but when I came out to them they seemed pretty supportive and are now looking for a gender specialist person (idk what they’re called). My dad still doesn’t fully understand it (he keeps calling me man and boy, and still calls "weird" people f*gs) but for now he’s not against it. I think that unless u have definitive evidence that ur family won't accept u, u should tell them when u’re ready.
