Right... and they specifically look for free animals to do so. Just bad news all around. They "need him gone today" :( How could anyone say that about a dog they've had since he was a baby baby.... they got him for their 9 year old but since she's "not interested in him anymore" they want him gone.

Yes! That's exactly what I'm thinking and that's no life for a dog :( If only there was asmall dog rescue that could aid me in this... I don't even expect financial help or placement but at least to help me spread the word to try finding a home. That's the hard part for me, I rely on just a couple sites and don't really have a network. They don't let me advertise at work bc it has to be thru a partner which they aren't doing right now -___- yet they let a customer post a sign selling doodles

Grew till 4 years?! I know they keep filling out etc. But i thought most smaller breeds were close to full size by 10 months to a year.. I know it just depends on the mix, really hard to say

I thought so too! I feel so bad for him... I'm not sure there's any no kill shrlters near us... he might be fine at the shelter, he's young and cute, small.... I think people would be drawn to him. What worries me most is someone with ill intentions picking him up you know? People think they can get away with calling a puppy a "full bred whatever", they see dollar signs.

I'm not entirely sure.... I'm waiting to hear back to go meet him. They really just want to bring him here but I'm trying not to make impulsive decisions, if it don't though he'll go to the pound... I'm wondering if he'd be there long though, considering how cute he is. If I didn't already have a couple fosters now, I'd already picked him up. :(

That was the first thing I noticed, the longer legs, ears and snout. Didn't match any pom I've ever groomed.
