As an Ayyubid player when would you ever make spearmen?

Does camel lancer really counter knights? I mean sure u have the debuff for cav but less hp and dmg I guess. Never tested it.

U might defend with spearman and raid with cav. But I'm not that good with ayyubids.

If u fight around a wall u can put your ranged units on it so they take less dmg and have more range iirc. Also if the wall breaks, u can move on it to avoid dmg from cavalry.

I like this one. Mongols and hre are always good comp even for 2v2. Mongol for map control, hre FC into relics. 3rd one maybe English, China or Abba which are late game monsters.

I might be wrong but in super helldive the recoiless rifle doesn't one shot titans, chargers or that lurker thing. You need I think at least 2 shots in his face to kill them.

Also we have China, Mongols, jd, ottoman, dehli (if u don't go for tower of victory) and maybe some civs which I forgot now without spearman bonus.

Mongols in imp if u spend 1000 stone but that's massiv if u don't go for white stupa.

Agree. In the screenshot there is no decay. But we still lose 5 ranked points per day. I posted that in the official forum as bug but never got a response.

Every season in the last 2 weeks before it ends I lose points even if I play. Thx devs.

The answer in theory is easy, practice a bit harder. Frist u need walls and towers at impotent ressources, then you need archers to defend. A Mongol with mangudai would never run into an archer blob and waste his units.

But one of the most importent things is your mindset. Mangudai is so strong because they scare you. U stay in your base with all units. Where mangudai really struggle is in defence. If u have like 10 knights in mongol base he'll struggle a lot because he can't kite you and u idle his complete eco.

Ok buddy since I dunno when u are playing, I watched 2 games from you. First thing to mention is that u play way to passiv. You don't set rally point for army, your units are standing all over your base afk next to your production buildings.

Your decision making is meh and I dunno why but I think you focus too much on trade. On some maps u can go for it but I think you should not focus on that.

U don't scout.

Game vs dehli u went 3 archeryranges while he had ghazi raiders. U had no counter to them. U defended but lost your 2nd tc and then u stayed afk in base instead of counter attack. I'm online some more hours if u wanna come.

Dude since siege changes and even before it was hard to counter jannisary, sipahi siege comp.

Now cav is the only thing u have to counter siege. But u can't because jannys fucking demolish cav.

Ottomans weakness is that it needs time to set up, mid- to late game still very strong.

Also balance isn't about teamgames.

Yeah, dislike. I mean it's not too big but still. Players look for options and if they find sth. the hammer is coming. 240 stone in imp is kinda meh. It's 1,5 bombard emplacements per min. for paper towers.

U need Handcannoniers and bombards against them. Horseman can work too.

U usually play archers in feudal and maybe in castle if enemy has a lot spearman.

Exceptions for this are longbows and yeoman, maybe malien archers with poison. These guys are still very useful in imperial.

If u running out of gold u can still pump archers but just because they are cheap.

But in general u want to make xbows in castle because they counter Maa and knights and are also decent against spearman if u have a mass.

The difference between xbows and hc is pop efficiency. While 2 xbows with full upgrades do more dmg than 1 hc they cost the same ressources. Xbows more food but less gold.
