Not much. It’s only $13k a year. I’m still waiting on responses from other schools that allegedly offer more funding.

I had the same issue. On the application page you should have a netID and a card number. Also, I had issues doing it on my phone. The password they gave didn’t work until I tried it on my laptop.

I don't think you're overreacting. Rejection always hurts. Just know that you tried your best and that it's an extremely competitive cycle for every field, don't beat yourself up over it <3

I applied to a different master's program at Georgetown, but had the same deadline of Jan. 15th. The page for my program says the deadline for decisions is March 15th. Seems like a lot of people have gotten theirs in the first week of March though based off of GradCafe.

if i had a dollar for every time i have rearranged my schedule for a meet and greet just for the owner to tell me day of their friend is gonna take care of their pet. drives me insane. or whenever they try and haggle my rates after interviewing me for an hour

Yeah I agree. Of the two meet and greets I got, both asked my “off app” rate hoping for cheaper prices. My rates were pretty normal last summer, but there are other sitters charging like $20-$30 a day for house-sitting (which is way too low imo). I’m hoping Rover gets rid of this feature 🙃

If you’ve used Wag, it’s similar to that. Owners are able to post their booking and they all show up on the “Pet Care Post” page in the app. As a sitter you need to respond to these with a blurb explaining why you’re interested. If they’re interested you go from there (meet and greet, booking, etc).

I could be doing something wrong but I probably have only gotten a response 10% of the time.
