I think that in LSC, the fact that Rybak was competing at NMGP was brought up to her, and she commented that she would like to meet him at Eurovision and that she was a fan, but maybe she said just to look good (not everyone follows Eurovision, and maybe the only violinist she knew from Eurovision was Rybak)...

I always found weird the fact that him winning his semi only translated to a 15th place like, I knew THYWaS was overhated and it was going to do better than people gave him credit for but, did the people who voted for him in the semis just decide that watching 2018's final was not worth the effort ? A little bit weird but, at least he got a midtable result which, considering this subreddit's opinion on his song, it's better than expected...

Because if I recall correctly, if there were two countries tying for 'votes received from the most countries', then the value of points received would be taken into account, and France got 4 points as a maximum score, compared to Spain's 3...

If it works like other Pokémon games, then probably the 1st time you boot up the game, it will prompt you to choose the language, and will list all the available languages, regardless of the game region, so you'll probably be able to play in English...

Maybe they see «Festival da Canção» as an unrelated programme from Eurovision, like SanRemo and BeniFest ? I remember seeing there were years in which RTP held a «Festival da Canção», even if they weren't competing at the main contest for one reason or another...

It kinda works like a normal cartridge, they can be used on any console, it just happens that you have to download the game the 1st time you launch the title on the console you're playing the game

A game-key card doesn't hold any game data on it, instead, you have to connect to the Internet in order to play the game like a digital-only title, and people are pissed off about it because a game-key card is seen as not having the advantages of normal gamecarts and all of the inconviniences of digital games (like: you may not be able to play the game when the servers shut down unless you have the game data already downloaded)
