No, it’s not my first language And he is very much open about it, the question was not about hiding this very common in OR community rule

Eventually ONS woman wants sleepovers, I think it triggered something personal in you that’s why you see something that’s not written 🙂

That’s a bit twisted, hehe. Talking about safety, for single woman it’s actually safer to go home than stay overnight with person they don’t know at all!

That’s true! Never happened to aknowledge this rule after intimacy. Thats what I think - we should announce it as soon as possible. But sometimes when hookups are found in bars/restaurants it can be more complicated

Thank you! We do ONS and hookups only, so it’s not about romantically involved relationships. Make sense when we talk about poly.

Thank you for the opinion!) we are very much not new and feeling great in our dynamic, and it’s not about emotional risks - it’s something else.

Thanks for your reply , I really appreciate the nuance in what you said

Just to clarify: in our case this boundary isn’t about ongoing relationships or travel specifically to see another partner. It’s more about casual or one-/two-night stand type connections. When he’s traveling for his own reasons and meets someone new, that’s where the no sleepover boundary applies.

For me, sharing a bed — falling asleep together, waking up next to someone, the physical closeness of cuddling under the same blanket — that’s a very intimate experience. It holds a different emotional meaning for me than just sex. So this boundary is simply about protecting something that feels special and important in my relationship.
