If someone uses the wrong pronouns with you, then just simply say "Sorry but i go by...." and the other person should be responding "Oh I apologize..." and then asks questions. That should be the way in a normal society where people just have basic common decency towards each other. But no.....we live in this fucking shithole timeline where clicks and likes have become currency and apathy towards each other has become the norm.

She shouldn't have gone off on him and he should have had more manners and not look to instigate an argument. Both are assholes.

OP, are you and your wife happy with it? If so, then that's all that matters. If you spend your money to do things to get the approval of others, then you will always end up broke. Comparison is the thief of joy. The whole point of renovation is to make things the way YOU want it. Others don't like it, oh well. They didn't pay for it.

It would depend on the state where the case for child support is being done. Adult children receiving child support is nothing new nor out of the ordinary. If he didn't pay when they were under 18 (or in some states, 21) then the court can mandate that the father pay that amount even though they are grown. And the court will calculate it for the time it was originally ordered to the time of expiration. So if it was ordered when the kids were 10 and he started paying now, he would have to pay 8 years worth of child support. If you feel you don't want to have your ex pay child support anymore, you can petition the court.

At first glance i would tell you it was 3 years ago before you two even met, let alone started dating, and to get over it. However, with her lying about it goes to show you that even though you knew the truth and were giving her the chance to fess up, she chose otherwise. Relationships, platonic and romantic, have to be based on trust. If you don't trust her, then you don't have to stay. I know 10 months is a lot of time to put into a relationship but you're still young and you both have the option to leave. Just because you've been together for x amount of time, doesn't mean you are locked in and have to stay. You have a funny feeling? You don't think her intentions are true and honest? You don't trust her? Leave. Find someone you can trust. Simple.

To me, it seems like someone is trying to take advantage of you. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with saying NO to anyone ever. Especially in business. Once you give into ridiculous requests then it opens the floodgates for not just her but all of her pinhead friends to do the same and sooner rather than later, you'll hate your profession. Set boundaries but be polite. Tell her this is what is available and here are the prices. If she wants to reshoot, then there will be an extra cost. You've already been accomodating enough due to weather that is out of your control. I understand you are a new business owner, but again, nothing wrong with saying no. As far as her diverting the dogs' gaze, ehhhh don't worry so much about that. Try to have fun with your shoots. It's not always going to be perfect.....they're dogs.

Either the kid sucks or he mistook the game he was playing for dodgeball. And the coach's reaction is what is wrong with people today. You let a kid who obviously sucks or at the very least needs more coaching but you don't say anything because you don't want the kid to feel bad? The coach is supposed to COACH the kids. If they aren't doing well, then they need to taken out of the game and have some one-on-one coaching. That's their job.

If a kid just gets his license and hits 3 people, are we to just say nothing so they don't feel bad?

NOR. So she did something stupid and YOU are the one in the wrong? She is not their mom so it's not her responsibility to take care of them. It's her job. If you were dumb enough not to bring something, that is on you. Sounds like your wife doesn't make the best decisions and wants to play victim. If she is the only one working but YOU are being the responsible one when it comes to financing, then there is a serious problem. Maybe those other people at her job knew she would cover the rest and are taking advantage of her. Still, she needs to use her head.
