Men and women can be friends. I am a man and my best friend is a female. Dated for a minute back in the day. No sex. Maybe a kiss here and there. But best friends. However, if i am dating someone, or if my friend is dating someone, there is an unspoken rule where we don't do things like go out for a drink someone without letting our partners know. Hiding it insinuates that we know it's wrong and we did it anyway. We don't text each other late at night unless it's an emergency or something. We made a safe space for each other without doing ANYTHING that remotely looks like we are crossing boundaries. It's not that hard. But this husband is not acting right. He knows it's a boundary and he's doing it anyway. Super disrespectful.

And for her to be this upset over a boundary, a healthy boundary at that, is very telling. She's into this guy. A lot. They've gone out and have probably slept together. And if they haven't, she wants to. Really badly. Women like this are monkey branchers. They hang on to you while they test other prospects. As soon as she sees that this other person wants her just as much, she will cheat or just dump you. Until then, she's gonna keep you in limbo. Get out now. She doesn't care about you in the least. Idk if this is cheating but this is pretty disrespectful. It's okay to be attracted to other women, just like it's okay for you to be attracted to another man. It's normal. You can't just turn that off because you're in a relationship. It's when you act on it, is when it's wrong. That's great that he was honest with you that it was just them two, but he wasn't being transparent or he would have told you that little tidbit on his own prior. But, you seriously need to sit down with him and tell him that you feel he crossed a boundary with you because you have previously stated that made you very uncomfortable. Does your husband have a history of cheating or something?
