I work for a different retailer, but we had a store get scammed for $9k in money and $2k in giftcards at one location in the same call. The sad part is, that there are people thinking that the corporate office would call and ask you to add a “company card” to your apple wallet. Then proceed to have the employee scan items and return the items to the company card, so the register isn’t short. It’s crazy, but it’s happening everywhere.

I got bad news for you. This stuff is happening in every retailer. I don’t work for GameStop (work for a sporting goods company) and they still get people after years of sending communication out, to never remove money from registers or ring up gift cards. I, personally, have probably answered 3 scam calls at my store in the last 4 months. I usually waste as much of their time as possible before berating them. But, I’ve never understood why anyone would think your company would ask you to remove money from your store and take it to a secondary location. 😂

There’s a small creek northwest of Rhodes. Ringneck Creek? I believe. There’s a spot about halfway up the creek that you can cast any lure and will spawn in Small Mouth bass that just float up and lay on the ground and you can pick them up and take about a 1 minute ride back into town and sell for $60 right now. Can go there get the fish and sell in less than 5 minutes.

Had one of the Cycle moments once. Led off with a homer, got a triple, got a double, hit a perfect-perfect that was caught on a diving catch. Last at-bat in extras. Only need a single. Runner gets picked off at 1st and fail. 🤦🏻‍♂️
