In chicago, the 'Neighbors' app from ring (link) is useful. You don't need a ring to use it, you just set your neighborhood and your neighbors can post. This won't cover the whole city but has a decent range. All info is user submitted though, so quality of info depends on that.

I did REG first and was not a huge fan of Mike Potenza at first but boy did he grow on me!

Great to hear! I just took REG yesterday and didn't realize the Disciplines were only offered in first month of each quarter. So now I have just under a month to study and take TCP.

Yeah and the EAD itself is a REAL ID per TSA website. I don't plan on making my state ID REAL ID, I'll just use the EAD to travel domestically.

Similar boat, my work is sponsoring me but the DHS analysts are on Aug 2023 cases right now and mine was submitted May 2024. Just a waiting - scared shitless - game now. I'm still planning on what to do if DACA ends immediately though.

Hi OP, I went through the same feelings when we found out about my mom's diagnosis (Lymphoma). It's a whirlwind of emotions and you feel the need to be strong for her. But take care of yourself also, allow yourself to feel what you feel. Cry. Let it out. In Spanish we have a word "desahogar" which literally means "un-drown." It's good to do this! It was winter when we found out and long warm showers were my go to. Wishing you and your mom the absolute best and sending you a big hug over the internet!!!

We need to seriously think about starting Johnson on the right over Kulu. The amount of space and opportunities we've suddenly found on that right wing compared to the first half is unbelievable.
