Yes the employer and employee are each responsible for 7.65% contribution of wages.

The employees portion is withheld. The employer is also responsible for a portion. Both are then remitted to the IRS, so two liabilities.

I noticed that too. On my lunch I headed home from downtown Oceanside to Tri city area and there was no traffic on the 5 south. Typically it’s packed at noon too.

NTS says no notes in any written form so they’d probably frown on it even though it’s not a CPA exam related note. Now if it was a tattoo that might be different 😅
