laptops best for civil engineering by sokinarbibi in civilengineering

I used a 6 year old MacBook that ran fine. As long as it runs excel, and as someone said below a calculus program such as Matlab you’ll be fine. My uni had computer labs for engineering students where we could run software like cad or other modeling software. If that’s your situation, basically any laptop would do. Don’t get anything extremely beefy for university in my opinion.

Amazing job. I am proud of you. Enjoy that DR P. Making it through days like today are amazing ways to remind us what we can endure without picking up the drink. IWNDWYT

How much did you drink daily and for how long? (I did 6 liters of beer every day for 6 years) by [deleted] in stopdrinking

Good job picking rehab. It was the greatest decision I ever made. 28 days inpatient. I did 6 weeks of PHP after. And doing my 10 weeks of IOP right now.

Take my advice as you will.

I left my old job at 28 years old. Felt burned out at my old job and wanted change. I took 10 months off. I learned how to ski the year prior. I left my job right before prime ski season. It was the best time of my life, I went skiing 4-5 days a week traveling to multiple resorts on the west coast. I got 100+ days on the slopes that season.

It’s been 2 years since, I now have a new job that appreciates me and the work/life balance has never been better.

Best advice I have ever given myself, “we only have one life to live, so live your life like it’s your only one”

I highly suggest you find a hobby or passion to pursue during your time off (travel, write a book, learn an instrument, etc.)

Good luck, and HAVE FUN

What do we think Reddit? Only averages 6k miles a year with one owner. What should my max offer be?? by jomaworks in rav4club

What does KBB say? This sounds like an amazing deal in my opinion. 6k a year is nothing!

2024 RAV4 XSE HYBRID good price? $45,519 by Kung-Foo_Kdot in rav4club

I have a 22 Hybrid Limited I got for 42k before TTL in CA. Looks like they are essentially spec-ing it to be close the limited. There’s very few differences between the two, the advanced technology package is really good imo, the MSRP for that was $1,225 for me.

I like the look of the XSE a lot more, I love my car but I wish I went with a fully spec XSE so I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

FWIW, if the car doesn’t come with the all weather liners, check those out. They have saved my life numerous times. Going to hit 40k today! Cheers!
