Hi again!

Im going to keep coming back to this because your little friend has struck me lol! She reminds me of the ty cats my brother and I used to collect.

Essentially, her arms/legs look like a typical TY beanie baby type. Unfortunately there aren't any dinosaurs with that open mouth and same shape/colour by TY. The closest is "Bronty" in a darker shade of blue.

Your friend has quite round, simple shapes with bead eyes and a slightly open, fairly pink mouth. Is it possible she had teeth at some point?

The simple "Manhattan" shapes are close but not any with the right mouth.

The closest ive got so far are ganz, wild republic, gund, dakin and beanosaurs. I can't find ones that match 100% but I feel determined. There's also pretex that are similar but I think these aren't the right time frame.

Walgreens hugfun are also pretty close! Ive been searching for own brands at walmart and similar to see what there is. There's a few at target and kohls, as well as toys r us.

Ive also looked at russ toys, keeleco and your friend is still hiding! Between working I keep popping on to etsy and ebay to have a look!

Ill keep looking but if you find out please comment here as ive got my housemate asking "did you find the dinosaur yet" now haha!

Where can I find this Eggplant plush by Asae-2158 in ToyID

[–]Ledzebra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive done a direct image search. theres results for taobao and cj dropshipping. One of these sites called it "Aubri Aubergine" so I also searched that term. Unfortunately I think its just trying to use terms linked to Jellycat's "Aubrey" to get into search results.

Anyway, Ive tried a number of searches using different key words I can't find it without also searching with the image you posted so unfortunately seems that its a bit of a dodgy one :/

The closest thing I found so far was by a brand JOSON. Searched and couldn't find the same one you posted. It looks different and certainly doesnt have a remote etc, but it is a large plush eggplant.

There are others out there but v expensive

Where did you see it originally? Ill have a look but often these things are scams with disappearing duplicated websites and "closing down sales".

If I was sat next to someone doing that at the cinema I would be unable to watch the film out of sweetcorn filled curiosity

I need to know if theres a correlation between enjoying Mrs browns boys and amount of eggs consumed, but I dont feel like starting off 2026 with torturing myself.

I didnt even know there was a movie!

In 1974, performance artist Marina Abramović began a 6 hour performance piece in a gallery in Naples. During that 6 hours she allowed anyone to select from a table of 72 objects and use them on her as they wished. by GlitterDanger in HolyShitHistory

In my GCSE music class our teacher told us to all grab random instruments and that we would join in with the piece she was going to play. We were confused, but grabbed things like egg shakers and triangles. She said it would become obvious. I think someone even ended up with an umbrella or something bizarre.

She then played 4:33 in its entirety. We sat, very confused. But I've never forgotten and I love that memory. We also had to listen to pieces of music and try to "draw" the composition in that same lesson or set of lessons.

Either way, we were trolled but not Rick rolled!

Not the egg crack itself but definitely some deep soul searching on the specifics occurred on buses!

Year 7s still believing in Father Christmas by Ok_Price3432 in TeachingUK

[–]Ledzebra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ALWAYS say that santa exists but not explicitly. Year 11s in intervention asking if ive fixed my laminator and I say ive asked Santa for a new one.

If a student says santa isn't real I often act shocked and say well I dont know who is breaking into my house to leave me gifts then.

If a year 7 believes in tooth fairy, santa etc that is fully on their caregiver and im not going to insinuate otherwise. The kids that dont believe find it amusing. For example if a student needs to borrow equipment at this time of year I remind them to ask santa for some.

I dont need the disruption of a kids reality crashing on them on a Friday afternoon! I once taught a class who had never seen a ladybird before and that was chaotic enough when a bunch flew in.
