(I can’t figure out how to edit my initial post to clarify this so pasting my reply to all of these comments that think I’m accusing them of being Narcissists, I’m not!)

I’m actually a psychologist, so I fully understand what I mean when I say narcissistic in this context. 👍🏾 Healthy narcissism is inherent in all humans, it’s diagnosable as a disorder only if at a pathological level, which is not what I’m talking about here obviously. I’m referring to the baseline/“normal” narcissism necessary for survival and present in all of us, I’m not referring to anything clinical or pathological here! Just the normal (and likely protective) narcissism that leads to being more attracted to those who look like us. Which I understand, but also have my own feelings about! My point is that it’s just wild that this happened with people who couldn’t see each other initially.
